i'm very interested of buying the hero 9300+ model with the 512 mb ram. can i add an hebrew language (full system support) on it? the 4.1.1 JB comes without hebrew when you buy it...

I need to know how to install 'FINNISH' language on my wife's GT-I9001 (Galaxy S Plus)
I have rooted 2.3.4. From this thread: [URL] ..... It's really so important that I get this input language.
I tried everything to add arabic support to a Galaxy Ace Plus GT-S7500, note that arabic works and the letters are arranged in the correct order, they are just not connected.
What i tried,
1) replace the font, the font changed but still the same problem
2) attempt to replace framework folder of an arabic supported stock , an Egyptian Version, it should have arabic support, using the same method as installing a custom rom, using a CWM and a zip with a script to extract those files to the correct location, but i got bootloops.
3) I tried to replace the entire system folder with system folder of the Egyptian Stock ROM, same problem, bootloops.
4) Finally i tried to replace system.img.ext4 from stock firmware with the Egyptian system.img.ext4 and install it through odin3, but it would complete.
And now im out of options, unfortunately this phone has no dedicated forum i could find nor many custom roms, not that i want them as this isn't my phone and i'd like to keep it the same as it as.
I have the Toshiba Excite 10 (AT300), I understand that there is no possible way to flash it with another version... I need to add the Hebrew Interface language.

I am trying to run flash website with my Android device(Galaxy S3 Jelly Bean 4.3). The website built for Internet Explorer only , but i succeed runming it on my FireFox browser on my PC. When i am trying to run this website on my phone , it run properly except of one thing : the Hebrew shows Gibberish.
I tried to put an image but i couldn't! I know that Adobe stop publishing Android flash player, but it still can be download from Adobe's website.
I search on the Internet and tried a lot of things: Flash Player isn't influenced of the browser encoding. I tried to replace a lot of browsers of android, no one solve the problem. After understanding the locale can be the problem i decided to make my IE on my PC show the same Gibresih. I change the religion on my windows 7 control panel and my IE showed the same problem. My device is English but i use application like customlocale2 ( I tried alot of those application). i tried to run the website on my friend galaxy s3 (genuine Hebrew) and the same thing happend. After searching on the internet i found this [link][2] which show how to change Firefox config on android device. I saw that the locate isn't for Hebrew. I tried to change all the configs that look like related to locale from my PC FireFox(couldn't find how to import config to Firefox android) but the same thing happended. (Maybe i miss some configs). Firefox doesn't have Hebrew edition to android device yet. When i tried it on My Google Chorme on my PC , the same thing happend. when i change the language of Google Chrome (including UI) and tried it works! I tried to enter to other Flash site i know and the Hebrew was upside-down.
I tried few keyboards so far and non of them is good as the JB stock one, my problem is that I cant add additional dictionary to the stock keyboard.
I would like to add a Hebrew dictionary...
I would like to change my region/language setting independently from the general LANGUAGE-SETTING in settings !!!
Ok that means i dont care about the language my apps will be displayed in as long as it is english "which should be in every rom.."
But i do care about the region they are set in... means when i start MIUI News/Weather (geniewidget.apk) I want to see News from Germany and temperature in Celsius..
When I play "who-becomes-rich" I want Euro for currency! and so on ...
Is there any way to set the region like that ? (build.prop or anything else..?)
Im using MIUI v4 with my G-Nex.
So I really want to be able to type in other languages with the Hero keyboard... my friends with iPhones can text each other in different languages, but I can only reply with english. Any idea on how to do this?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI agree about the lack of technical knowledge within Orange; I live in France and have just ordered an HTC Hero. My last HTC (Touch) came with French version of WM. This was understandable and I was happy to use it like that (I had no choice actually) but, when asking about whether I would be able to change the language of Android on the Hero, no one at France Telecoms (they are in the technical side of the bed with Orange France) knew. I will be getting the 'phone in a couple of days and, unless I can change the language, I will be returning it tout de suite.

I downloaded something called "Arabic Android" and after flashing it, the Hero hanged in the boot screen and I had to spend over 3 hours to get back as no re-flashing or Nandroid restoring worked. Anyway, if there is a trusted way to add the Ararbic support, I would be more than grateful to have it as many of my friends send me Arabic SMS, emails, tweets and Facebook messages.

I have downloaded and installed the latest software containing danish language but it doesn't work. Support says they cant help but that there is a way around the problem. So! There is an open issue with about 100 people watching it and 80 comments on it which nobody seems to care about it is http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=1580 and it talks about Hebrew support for android phones. The current situation is that people need to root their phones to get it which is simply a ridiculous situation. This issues has been left unattended for a very long time and all that's really needed is to replace the system fonts with fonts that support hebrew. This has been done by Samsung on the Samsung Galaxy and has been proven as working and did not change the font of the system when viewing English. My question is, why is it that Google can't take the time to integrate a change that already exists in a branch of the OS into the trunk and thereby allowing many other people to enjoy the OS? This affects not only Hebrew, but Arabic and many other languages, what's the point of an open source OS if the project progresses so slowly?
