I tried searching appbrain, but I had a hard time finding any good ones. My GF has a scrabble-like game on her iPhone that sets her up with random players and its pretty fun. Anything of the sort ? View 27 Replies View RelatedI bought this game and then requested my refund because of lag issues and other little issues, but when I went to get the refund, there was no uninstall and I got my email saying that I was not charged and that the order was canceled.
I even went back and played it again to see if it worked or if it would be blocked or something, but it still plays properly. I was wondering if this will automatically uninstall later? I waited to see if they would uninstall it after the 24hour period, but its still here. Am I missing something? Am I going to get charged again? I'm just really confused about this as this is the first app that I have bought from the market.
How do I switch World War to another phone with out having to start over? I was told it was possible but I haven't found instructions any where on how to do it.

I also tried to watch highlights from a previous match and highlights from Rockness music festival but still no joy? Adobe does not support this was the warning i got but i thought the Desire supported this with its Adobe flash player? View 1 Replies View RelatedI was just curious which Gameloft titles people own or have tried, and what their take on them is. I'd also like to know what devices you are running them on (although I guess your pot would indicate that under your name...) and what problems, if any, that you have encountered (bugs, force closes, etc.). I have the bought Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X. and Dungeon Hunter, and here are my thoughts on them. Plane graphics are awesome, and the game play is pretty cool. Basically just a scaled down version of the PC/Console game. 13 missions give you a fair amount of gameplay and you can fly over 20 different planes and upgrade their weapon loads which is pretty cool. Gameloft LIVE and the achievement system make the game fun to play time and time again. I also like using the Accelerometer with this game too, and it works like a charm. I have not run into any bugs or anything of the sort with this game.Graphically the best RPG on the market (at least until Pocket Legends comes out, but even with that the two different styles will make them unique). Quite a few quests to do, hundreds of armor upgrades and ways to customize your characters. Gameplay is pretty smooth as well. The storyline and conversations get kind of cheesy at times, but overall a decent game. I encountered one part of the game causing a force close every time. At the end you defeat the last boss and there is a portal you are supposed to take after. This portal alone causes force closures every single time. Anyone have any of the other titles? How is the online multiplayer for those that have it (such as Modern Combat and NOVA)?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI recently started programming in Android, and as a beginning project I am trying to build a logo quiz app. The idea: You see a splash screen after opening the app (play game - about). Play game takes you to a new activity called LevelSelector.java where you can choose the level you want to play. Clicking on a level takes you to another new Activity Level.java.I created a SQLite db with 20 questions in it which I install with a DBHelper.java class, every question also has a level column.
However, I get lost in my global structure. Since I work with different levels I don't want to make a new class for every level. I guess I lost the overview due to my lack of programming in android, but I figured the best way to learn it is (after I watched tutorials) to build an app myself..
I am a android beginner, now i am going to design a Quiz application for android I am very confuse about which layout i should use for Quiz. My requirement is when user touch the answer , the next question will appear on same screen and at the end of quiz the web view will be generated as a result page. Right now i don't have in depth knowledge of Layouts and switching the view when user clicks on Answers. Please help me at least suggest me Which layout i use.

I'm not sure about the storage for those data - questions and possible answers. What would be most natural way for Android. I know that I can either use property files or tables in sqlite database. There will be about 500 items (1 question, 3 answers, 1 correct answer ). Any ideas?
