I did a search but cant seem to find an answer. I finally got my work email set up through active sync. Is there a way to get the calendar events to show up on my google calendar? I use calendar pro which I love. I don't know if there is a work around or I am just not knowledgable enough to understand it. A for instance would be that my work email gives me an event or invite...it will show up on the phones calendar but not on my google calendar/events. (my google notification each morning may say "no events scheduled for the day" but phone calendar/calendar pro will show it)

View 2 Replies View RelatedGoogle Calendar on the web shows everything correct BUT, my Droid, even after syncing, shows duplicates of some Events - seems random - and these are not on the web Calendar as duplicates, also shows Events but does not show what they say unless you click on them - no text. What do I do? Do I remove the duplicate in Droid or just let it sync itself correct in time? is there a way to have it better sync?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy Google Calendar App syncs google calendar appointments just fine. But "Corporate" accounts, which include my Hotmail and GroupWise calendars, won't sync calendar appointments older than two weeks. Even worse: appointments from older than two weeks ago actually drop off.
On settings, I have it set to sync all. I tried adding and removing accounts. I tried deleting calendar memory/cache. I have even tried returning my Nexus 7. The replacement has the same issue.
The native calendar widget doesn't display the current days events only the upcoming ones. Is there a way to change this or a different calendar app that is better?

They have reminders in Google Calendar online, and in Outlook (they are sync'd from Outlook to Google Calendar by the "Syncmycal" program.) So somewhere between Google Calendar and my Droid I'm loosing reminder settings. The events are all there in my calendar, but none of them has a reminder set.

Anytime I click to add a new event it always defaults to "My Calendar"(phone built in one) as the Calendar it is going to add it too.I have checked my settings and I only have my google calendar checked so it shows all of those events.The "My Calendar" is unchecked too. But it always wants to add it to that one, not google. Any ideas how to change this? Or if not, is there another calendar app you could recommend I use instead of the stock then?This is really annoying that every event I have to change and select Google.I use google calendar for everything, and if I forget once it could cause a lot of problems. I have a Droid X2. I downloaded Google Calendar Sync to my computer which synced my Outlook with my Gmail calendar, and that displayed on my phone, but events created on the phone do not display in the Google calendar or Outlook.
I have gone to phone Settings > Accounts > checked Gmail to sync calendar. Google Calendar Sync on my computer is set for 2-way syncing and to do so every 15 minutes. The phone is rooted.
Just wondering if it's possible to have events created automatically, in Google calendar, for birthdays taken from from my contacts. I have synced all my Facebook contacts' birthdays with my Google contacts using Uber Facebook sync (or some other totally rad hipster name) - although they are not visible anywhere (is this even possible?).
Any easily maintainable way to receive birthday reminders? I don't want to manually create events annually.

So the large calendar widget that I placed on my home screen used to show dark little tabs in the corner of everyday that I had an event. While I was looking through it, all of the little tabs disappeared and I have no idea what days I have events unless I go into the actual calendar app. Is there any way to keep them there permanently?

I'm a new Droid Eris user and have been using Google Calendar for some time.I have a single calendar set up which is syncing with the Eris.I can successfully add/edit/delete entries from both applications and have them show up just fine on the other side.I have a couple of recurring entries that I've since deleted in Google Calendar but are still showing up on my Eris.The unique thing about both of these entries is that they were meeting requests sent to my Gmail address and accepted from there.They have since been cancelled from the original sender and are now removed from my Google Calendar.My calendar entries are labeled as dark blue, and these two show as light blue.I cannot select them on the Eris to edit or delete them.

With the the methods I already have I could check the ID of the calendar I want to work with, which is 5. I also could find out the ID of an event in that calendar which is 87. I'm trying to update that event with this code (well actually it is a bit different but I've shorten it a bit so it's not so much code to read for you)

There is field "duration" in the events table in the database which gives us an encoded format string like "P300S" for repititive events. We are unable to decode as to what this string will mean. Can any body help us with this Query?

All of the sudden, her calendar is completely empty and can't see mine anymore.But on mine, I still see all of her events and see it listed as one of my Calendars both in Google Calendars and on my phone.Everything looks perfect on my end but everything is back to square one on hers.Any ideas how to restore her calendar or what may have caused it.I am afraid that just starting hers over is going to start duplicating events in mine.

My phone is cluttered with other people's events in which I have no interest, to the extent that my ability to see what is on my calendar is impaired. What is up with that?? iPhone, Palm, and Blackberry all do this natively.Anyhow, I thought I was being clever by sharing my calendar between my personal gmail and my corporate gmail accounts. As a result, I can now see my work events on my personal calendar while in the browser. BUT.... from my Android, the shared events DO NOT appear! Why? Why? I downloaded a few other calendar apps from the Market but they all rely on the built in calendar... so none of them do any better.Is there a solution to this problem or is this another inherent Google fault?

I was going to write it as a service, and just have it check the calendar from time to time, but I found out that the SDK does not offer direct access to the Calendar yet. So is there any other way to access Events? Maybe a broadcast when an event starts and stops?
