May 4, 2010I have a couple of questions about the sense weather clock widget...first, when I had the Eris I though I remembered it actually flipping and I know in WM's sense it does flip. Also is there anyway to skin the clock w/out root? I had the black clock on my Eris after the 2.1v2 leak upgrade.

Sep 2, 2010Almost a deal breaker if I can't use that clock with Launcher Pro. Is there a way to get it on there? Pressed add + but saw no option to put it on there. Just analog clock.

Mar 22, 2012After waiting for quite a while and realizing development for my phone is almost non existent, I decided to go at it myself. Working off the stock HTC hero ruu I've managed to so far get a rooted unbloated ROM that will flash, boot, and everything working. I do want to work on it a bit more though before releasing it. One thing is spinning. I've managed to find pretty much everything I want to change except for the flip clock skins.
Where the files for the HTC flip clock are located?

Nov 14, 2010I just got my captivate, but have been lurking these forums for a while. After going through the screenshots thread I really like the HTC like clock widgets, but most of the ones posted I cannot find, or my captivate wont let me install them since they are not from the market. Are there any good ones in the market? and if not, what's an easy way to sideload? (I'm currently using retro clock in the meantime)

Mar 16, 2010Does anyone know why but my clock/weather widget always shows my location as a few towns over. If i manually open it it then shows it correct as i can add a city myself, but it doesnt update on the home screen, any ideas? I read somewhere about setting your home city, but im not seeing it.

May 11, 2010It seems that with the cancellation of the N1 on both Verizon and Sprint, I lost my last best hope for an unadulterated Android platform. I honestly don't want Sense UI or any other proprietary UI. And at least on the Incredible (and presumably the EVO), its impossible to turn it off.

Sep 9, 2010Can I somehow detect if my app is running on HTC Sense? More generally, the problem is, that I have a Button with custom drawable. It's something very similar to the account switcher in the top right of Gmail app. When pressed or focused, the button has orange highlight. But that doesn't look nice on HTC Sense - because the standard highlight color there is green.

Mar 8, 2010I have downloaded the new sense 2.1 rom that people are flashing onto the Nexus in an attempt to pull out the apk for the flash player.
I was able to find 2 files:
1. FlashPlayer.apk
2. FlashLitePlugin.apk
The first one(player) goes through the normal process, then says app not installed. The 2nd one(plugin) installs just fine but doesn't seem to do anything. Not sure if it is even possible this route or if you have to do this adb push Ive been hearing so much about?

Aug 23, 2010i'm torn between two worlds the world without HTC sense where you can have a shortcut dock on the homescreen as provided by LauncherPro, and the world with HTC sense where more homescreen widgets work.So, the question is - can you get a dock like the one offered by LauncherPro and keep Sense, or, can you get more widgets to work with LauncherPro. Widgets like the agenda calendar where your facebook contacts and any other events show up in a list?
