I'm sure it's easy, but I'm not seeing it.I have an HTC Incredible.How do I upload files (mainly pictures and videos taken with the camera) to my dropbox folder?I thought there might be a way to go into the dropbox app and upload, but that doesn't seem to just let me upload any file.I also tried copying the files into sdcard/dropbox, but they don't show up in my dropbox account that way either.

I know Dropbox for Android (and iOS for that matter) will automatically upload pictures you take with the camera. But I want to have it also upload pictures that I save, either from a text message or from a website. Those pictures are saved to the "Downloads" folder, which I don't think Dropbox is watching for pictures. If I move pictures to the "DCIM/Camera" folder, SOMETIMES pictures will upload, but not always.
So is there a way to force Dropbox to auto-upload the pictures I save? I want that to happen so the pictures will be renamed to the date it was taken, which is why simply sharing them to Dropbox won't do.
I have my Samsung Galaxy Note, iPad3, wife's iPhone and the kid's iPhones. I want each device to upload their photos & videos to specific folders in DropBox, one folder per phone.At the moment, all phones upload photos into the Camera Upload folder and I have to manually move them to the correct sub folder.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm having trouble uploading pictures I've taken on my DX to facebook through the "Quick Upload" option.I got a few uploaded, so I know it works, but now everytime I try, the status bad fills up all the way to "Uploading 100%" then it stalls before giving me the error "Can't send response now.Try again later."I've tried turning Wi-Fi on or off, but on both Wi-Fi and 3G it's not working.Thoughts?

1. Storage of text with a description and grouping of items
2. Syncs to the cloud/PC so data can be entered using a PC.
3. Offline mode so can still be read on the PDA even if no internet (this is why I'm leaving Evernote).I'm at the stage where I don't think an app like exists for Android yet and am thinking I'll create folders for each group and a text file for each item. I'll then copy this to the device using Dropbox. Has anyone tried this yet.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI'm trying to figure this out. I bought Titanium Backup today just because one of the features it offered was syncing with Dropbox. It says it's an experimental feature which I take to mean buggy as hell, but I'm willing to try it out. I can't figure out how to set it up though. I've dug through all the settings and it's possible I'm missing something completely, but I don't know where. Can anyone walk me through how to do this? Being able to sync my backups to the cloud is a huge thing for me.

When he uses his native android video player he can see media listed from DropBox (and a little drop-box icon on the bottom left corner of the thumbnail).He also has the options "View by" under the options button and can select "view by content on DropBox ".
-> This allows him to stream the videos from dropbox on the native vid player without downloading onto the device...
I do not have these options!How do i get them?

i manage to somehow do it with 6 of the ones i first put in there. but I didn't know my phone saved them at the time, and now i don't know how to do it again.

My goal is to use my Galaxy S4 phone to open this file though dropbox and then click on the links and then have the web pages open up in my phone browser.
Currently, my Galaxy S4 phone does have the dropbox app on it. My phone is able to access the excel file in dropbox just fine by using the Polaris Office App. However, when I click on the links within the Excel file, it does not forward me to the web pages.
Is there some way for me to click on the links on this Excel file and then be forwarded to the corresponding web pages? Perhaps there is an App other than Polaris which is capable of doing this?

Im syncing pics and backup install files and some backup config files like adw backups. Nothing big like movies and so on. Biggest backup apk file is 32mb
I upgraded my phone to the Vibrant mainly so that I could have more of a "work" phone and sync my phone with the MS Office suite on my laptop, but I have no clue how to do this effectively! I have downloaded the ThinkFree Mobile app so that I can open Excel and Word files, and have also downloaded the Dropbox app so that I can sync files to my phone from my computer. However, I have a few questions: 1) It doesn't look like my files are syncing to my phone with Dropbox once I make changes on my computer. 2) I am not able to edit files on my phone in either ThinkFree or Dropbox; shouldn't I be able to? and 3) How the heck do I get Outlook on my phone?.
