May 20, 2010This might just be me being a bit stupid but i've just got myself an x10 and am trying to transfer all my music files from my old handset. They are saved on my SD card an i have put my old SD card into the phone and have found my music files using mediascape... however i don't know how to take them from the SD card an store them on the phones memory so i can put my new&bigger SD card into the phone. Does this make sense?

May 10, 2010I was playing around with my old LG Versa today. My son is using it for a camera. He's 7. I went to the bluetooth menu on the phone, put the device in discovery mode, and transferred a picture to the Versa from my Incredible. I thought shit, I wonder if I can transfer music this way. When I open up ES File Explorer, it has the option for bluetooth, but I cannot access the Versa from there. Does the Versa need a memory card to access from file explorer. It tells me invalid path or something.
Just found share option in stock music player. I use "3" instead for the album art, but the stock has bluetooth share. Now I gotta see if it works.

Jun 5, 2010I've checked the option on the phone for the FTP folder. I have made the phone discoverable, and then been able to see it on the Mac. I go through the whole thing on the Mac, enter the codes on the screen, etc. but it then gives me a warning on the Mac that my phone doesn't have any bluetooth profiles, and then simply says that the devices are paired, but not connected.I heard the Hero had all sorts of problems connecting with a Mac to transfer files, but one would think this new Evo would work, given the FTP folder option. Anybody have any ideas? Have you tried it on a Mac, and been able to get it to work?

Jun 11, 2013I am having troubles transfering files from my PC to Samsung S3. I can copy pictures from the S3 to my PC fine and I see everything - I just can't do it the other way around. Everytime I do, the thing just freezes and nothing happens and after a while it will say: Cannot copy (filename): this device has either stopped responding or has been disconnected. The camera may not support copying files from your computer.
I tried both the modes of USB (MTP and the camera thing) as well as turning on debugging. Nothing seems to resolve.

My phone is showing up in My Computer as a "device with removable storage", but when I click on it, no files or folders are showing up. The only items listed are a setup file and the driver file. I have already run and installed the driver correctly as far as I know and nothing happens when the setup file is clicked. I'm using a 2007 Toshiba Satellite.
I'm trying to move a video that is taking up most of my storage on my SD card.

Oct 11, 2010I developed my first (small) Andoid application using Eclipse and are now ready to transfer it to my Galaxy S mobile device (develping for Android 2.1)
Following another thread in SE, I changed the run mode in Eclipse to manual in the hope that I would be able to chose my phone and/or AVD every time I run the program.
The popup list howerver only show the AVD, my phone is not present in the list.
So obviously, my Samsung Galaxy S device is not recognized. Howerver, I can transfer to and from the device using a drive letter, so the USB connection is working properly.
Anyone any idea what I am missing here ? I'm not sure if it is an Eclipse problem , or a driver or ....
