I am displaying a notification icon which is dark gray. It looks fine on Nexus One, where the notification area is light gray and is almost invisible on HTC Desire (Sense UI - dark gray notification bar). Is there a way to overcome that? (The icon cannot be changed).The icon cannot be changed meaning" that I am using a custom set of icons which is a must for me.

Right now it shows "2" but it has been that number for quite some time. I would like to hide or remove unwanted icons from the left side of the notification/status bar. I realize most programs give you this option, but some don't (such as the latest version of Norton security program). It just sits up there and hogs up real estate. You upload the framwork.apk to them and select the set of icons you want and all the colors and stuff and then they send you a new file that you flash in after you flash a ROM.
The website was something that really didnt make sense, and would never be able to figure it out, even through google search. I installed Win 7 today and didnt check my history before I did it.
Does anybody know where I can get different 3g and gps icons for my notification bar. I found some others over at droid pirate but still looking for more ideas.

View 5 Replies View RelatedIs there any way to disable the icons in the notification bar which appear while apps running in background without losing their full funktion?For example I have an "Anti-Virus Program", "LBE Security Master" an "Tasker" running in Background. There a little Icons shown in the Status-Bar and big notifications when I pull down the notification bar. Of course many apps have an option to disable this, but they tell me that they won't work right anymore if I would disable that. Since Jelly-Bean, I think, there is a way to disable notifications from every app but same thing here - apps seem not to work right anymore.
Is there a way to get rid of the icons or the big notifications without losing their funktion?
Does anybody know an app that can change Ally's LED color??? LED Tester app works just fine but it's just a test. I'm looking for something like Blink... Blink doesn't work on Ally though.

Not sure if this is common knowlege but I'll post it anyway. settings> cyanogenMod settings> user interface> status bar (to change color of the clock and add battery % inside battery indicator) >back> Notifications colors> check Custom notification bar> bar color> REBOOT & there ya go I know for sure it works in Kaosfroyo v30 & i'm pretty sure it works in all the kaos froyo versions

View 5 Replies View RelatedI just rooted my phone and I know you can download icon packs and use better cut to specify what icon you want for a specific application, I was just wondering if there is an easier way to just load the icon pack and it will somehow replace the current default icons?
I also was wondering if there is any way to "theme" the notification bar. I would really like to make it transparent, but I don't want to use open home or ahome. I am sure there is an image sitting somewhere that I can change? I just rooted my phone a few hours ago.
