I'm pretty disappointed that android has been around this long without an app that syncs photos. I'm looking for something automated and preferably over the air into a cloud storage. I'm coming from Windows Mobile where Microsoft's My Phone app did all this.

I can't seem to sync some contacts that i've added on my galaxy to google contacts. i count at least 3 off the top of my head that i've added some time ago - one with only a name + number, one with those + pic, one with those + email. i just logged in to gmail on a computer and was about to send a mail to the last one mentioned, but couldn't find the contact. i tried to sync manually from the phone (by disabling/enabling contacts auto sync), and it did sync and changed the timestamp for "last synced", but none of those contacts appeared in my google contacts.

The closest competitor would be SugarSync but I really hate their interface and I think their service is slow and terrible.

some of my albums are syncing (my main pictures album), but my screenshots are not. How can I fix it so my screenshots also sync to Google+ or at least to google drive? Note that my phone is not rooted
View 2 Replies View RelatedOK, i dont know how to, but for the life of me iv tried every possible way to add a photo from my gallery to some of my friends on my contact list but it wont let me theirs just no clean cut way that i can see, so if someone know how to please let me know, i tried syncing it with my facebook but half my friend have wrong numbers and its getting farking annoying.

I have a Motorola Moto G 8GB which is running very low on storage (only about 800mb left). This phone does not take Micro SD cards but it comes with 50GB Google Drive storage. However i haven't used this at all. I am wondering whether i could download android apps and games to google drive, dropbox etc. Games like Real Racing take up about 1GB so i cannot download it to my phone. Can i download it to the Cloud? If this is not possible, is there any way that i could save the app data on the cloud. E.g. The Simpsons: Tapped Out is about 37mb to download off the play store, but then you must download the updates etc which are about another 250mb. is there anyway to save this 250mb on the cloud. Or any other games data.

I need an app that syncs my music from my droidx to my tablet wirelessly, because I download all my music off my phone and never have a computer involved. I use poweramp and really don't want to use another music player in order to do this. But if that's what I'm stuck with ill do it.

I have multiple applications which fetch data from emails, rss feeds, twitter, facebook, etc. For exemple, my Tweetcaster fetch data each 60 minutes, Feedly each 60 minutes, K9 each 60 minutes for all accounts, etc. Is there a way to make applications to sync/fetch all at the same time ?
I was watching a Google I/O session on YouTube, which was very interesting. The bottom line is, to save battery, you should sync everything at the same time, so one big cookie instead of multiple small cookies through the day. Therefore, I am looking for a way to force my applications to sync all together at the same time.
When I try to use Sense to view photo albums for one friend, it shows that they have zero photo albums. The official facebook app does the same. If I use the browser to visit her profile, I can see her numerous photo albums easily, but damnit! I want the software to work like it's designed and this little bug seems so bizarre. As far as I can tell, the missing albums bug only applies to this one friend. I would be able to easily overlook the bug except that one friend is my fiancee.

I've got about 90 apps on my phone, and when I install a new rom - they all get copied across to the new rom.
BUT old apps I no longer use also get copied over - even though I deleted them from previous rom.
Is there any way to remove them - Im guessing from the Google account?
Just installed first non HTC based ROM (CM10). It doesn't ask to sign in with gmail and then doesn't sync contacts and apps. I tried putting in my gmail account where it asked for my email and yet no contacts or apps.
Where, and why can i sync all my stuff up at?
I could be missing this, but is there a way to send/tag a photo to facebook from the photo itself? The Facebook app for my blackberry lets me do this. If I pull up a photo I just took, I have the option of sending it to Facebook, as well as tagging it. I can't figure out how to do this on my Moment.

Now its not like iCloud where you download an app on one device and gets automatically pushed to your other devices quick and easy.

Has anyone else experienced a strange problem with the Milestone (running 2.1) camera - in every photo, the right edge shows a thin vertical strip of the next photo! Shows in both Gallery & Media Gallery.. but don't have a similar issue in a video.

I have shared my second calendar with my primary and my appointments for both show up fine online, and in my DX calendar list, it says my second calendar is on there, but nothing is showing up. I've tried adding new appointments both on device and computer, but they don't sync for that calendar.
Am I missing something? Or does anyone know of a calendar app that will sync with a second gmail calendar?
Camera app or organizer app that actually moves pictures instead of just displays them differently via a viewing app?
For example it would be great to have photos automatically go into pre-set albums or quickly and easily reorganize them afterwards etc. I know I can manually move them via file managers but looking for a dedicated app with different options/filters etc.

There are quite a few cloud-based storage services out there now (Google Docs, DropBox, etc.), but none seem to have clients for the Android phones. I searched the market, and I did find a few 3rd party apps for things like DropBox, but most had mediocre reviews. Anyone use a desktop app/android app/service combination they are happy with and care to recommend?

Not bad for a cell phone camera, imo. Sorry, but I didn't have time to do some other examples, Canon T1I, 18-55mm lens, set to 8MP, full auto On the left HTC Evo 4g, 8MP, full auto On the right.
