Alright all of a sudden last night my installed apps have all disappeared under the downloads section of my android market. It only showed google maps. When I installed a new app it showed up right below google maps but still no sign of my missing apps.What's wrong? Is android market twitchy again? A reboot of the phone doesn't.

I just updated to Froyo(2.2).Now when I search for my apps in the marketplace they are not showing up.I had the minSDK set to 1.6(4) when I developed them.Why are the not showing with Froyo?This worries me somewhat,
View 6 Replies View RelatedIs there anyone that knows how to contact the m:" " dev to generate a certificate (or whatever is needed for the droid eris on 2.1) non of the m: apps are showing up in the market and I really miss playing vampires and racing.I even have tried using appbrain to sync the app but since it works off the market it just disappears when it shows up for the install. Any thoughts here on how to get these apps working on a 2.1 Eris?

There are some apps that I cannot find in the market that use to be there in 1.5, whats with that?.. although there are some apps in the 2.1 market that are there that never were there in 1.5, like bluetooth file sharing app, Torque bluetooth vehicle engine diagnostics, etc.Looking for skype in the market, it's nowhere to be found from what I seen on the vzw moto - Droid commercial, it's suppose to be there. There's a few apps that I can't think of at the moment that I know are in the market but don't show up on the market of my phone since I updated it,is anyone else experiencing something like that?

View 9 Replies View RelatedI've been trying to download the "Desktop Visualizer" (a free app) but it wasn't showing up in the market, and no matter how I tried (QR codes, direct links, appbrain), I couldn't get it to download. Turns out it's copy protected, which seems to be the problem. I'm running 2.1 on my milestone (rooted) but I've googled a bit, and other rooted people don't seem to have this problem. Does anyone know what's causing it, and, if known, how to fix it?

I set up the main account with a gmail account I made for my kids because the device is mainly used by them. I added my own google account so it can be used with the play store to redownload all the apps I have purchased for them. I have set the play store to use my google account.
But all the apps I have previously paid for have their price listed beside them in the store, rather than saying "purchased". If I try to buy them again it gives me message saying there was an error with the transaction.I have set up a device with 2 accounts like this before and it worked ok.
Not sure if anyone has noticed or if its just my phone.Im running the OTA2.1 rooted with the Aloysius Rom(has happened with other roms also) and it seems like every app that i have installed through Astro Manager doesnt show/update in the market.is anyone else having this problem whether your phone is stock or rooted?

View 1 Replies View RelatedPeople are having problems finding my app (Advanced Map Live Wallpaper) in the Android Market.It's free, not copy-protected, and the only requirement is SDK level 7 or above. However, it's invisible on some Nexus 2.1 devices, a lot of Droids (2.1), and a smattering of other phones.The fact it disappears seems to be completely random, and it's driving me nuts because I don't know if it's a misconfiguration by me somewhere or a Market problem.I know there's been an issue for copy protected apps, but I can't see how this applies to me.

I'm just browsing the market on my phone and every few games down there are utterly shite apps from a developer called "Aroma planning" which are pictures of women which you are supposed to touch.
I'd love a feature where you could block every app from that developer but I wouldn't know how or who to contact to ask if it could be implimented.
As far as I know, the Market isn't a part of the open source components in Android and is Google's property but does anyone know if there is a contact email address for the android market developers so I could ask if such a feature could be added?
If I see another miniskirt touch game by that arsehole I'll probably end up snapping my nexus one in rage.

I have an app that was installed via Android Market. And so, the Android Market knows when new versions are out and notifies me of an update. Titanium Backup calls this the 'Market Link', not sure what else it could be called.
how would I go about 'disconnecting' the app from the Market? Deleting the market link as if it were side-loaded?
Yes, I know this means no more updates for the app etc. Which is actually what I'm after.

Does anyone else have their download statistics stalled? Mines are showing the same number since the 17th. The apps are published and are visible from the market's client, so I hope it's (another) temporal problem from the Market.
View 11 Replies View RelatedI've updated (uploaded a new version) of my app, TimeTracker, twice in the past couple of months, and in both cases, the new upload has not shown up in the "by date" sorted list of the Market app. When I search for the app, I see the correct version in the Market, and I can find it in the correct category by scrolling down; it is just that the updates aren't being correctly sorted.

It shows up and downloads just fine on Nexus One.I can only think that it has something to do with the AndroidManifest.xml file contents. I tried all combinations for <supports-screens> including not having it at all. I tried including/ excluding the <uses-feature android:name="android.software.live_wallpaper" />.I don't like releasing my app over and over trying to debug this.

Does anyone understood even bits of how the market ranks apps in the market ?
I usually don't look at stats but following another post on this topic, I counted my rank in my category ... 565 ... Ouch that hurts! Especially when half the apps in front of mine, are crap apps with less downloads and ratings as low as 1 star :).
Not that it would make a difference being rank 250 instead of 565...But this is humiliating a little :s

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just installed Froyo on my rooted droid, and every time I try to download Flash player from the market, it doesn't come up, and when I try to download it from the Adobe website, it redirects me to the market on my phone and says "invalid location" so I'm wondering if android is doing this on purpose or am I just ******ed? or is something just wrong with my update now lol. btw my phone does say version 2.2
