Tried setting clock for a time but still no go??
Figure the long emulator startup time is do to the alarm clock error.

Jun 24, 2010I have the beautiful smaller home widget on my default home screen. I'm using Launcher Pro. The last two days, I've noticed that the clock gets stuck. Right now, the clock on the task bar says 12:15, for example, and the widget says 12:06. I read in a different post to remove and re-add the widget, so I did that, but it has obviously been sticking again since.

Android :: Clock And Weather
Apr 28, 2010I am curious if anybody else has a problem with the weather app that is default when you use android. I have the HTC Hero. I really like the look of the big clock with the weather. But the weather on mine is WAY OFF and it drives me crazy. The cweather is always 8-14 degrees off from what the real temp is and the weather icon is also off most of the time. It may be cloudy and it will show rain. or it may be sunny and it will show partly cloudy. Now I know that they must use a tower that is not close to my house. But I live in a small town and there is no way that the temp is 14 degrees hotter 3 miles away at the same elevation. this is frustrating because I really like the look of the clock/weather widget. I just use the weather channels widget and it is close to spot on. But it does not have the same look as HTCs. I also used weather bug and it was off too. Not as bad as HTCs but still off.

Nov 16, 2009Is there any way to remove the weather icon from underneath the clock? I have turned off all GPS and auto update settings to conserve battery life so the icon under the clock is always wrong so it seems pointless that I even have it there.

May 11, 2010Just got myself a new HTC Incredible.It's my first Android phone, and hell my first smartphone at all, and I'm loving it.One aspect that's kind of bugging me, on previous phones I had, it was very easy to glance at the phone to see what time it is.With the Incredible, the screen shuts off completely when it goes into standby, and I have to press the top button to see the clock.It's not the worst thing in the world, but does anyone know of an app out there that can make standby mode display a clock instead?
