I hav started doing app in Android. I want to set wallpaer in Android which run in Background(using Service) and the wallpaper will change within 5 minute in background. I keep the image files in Drawable. Anyone kindly send the coding for setting the wallpaer and retriving it after 5 minutes..

I downloaded pictures off the internet and tried to set them as my background, and it says "This picture has been set as wallpaper" But its just the default wallpaper. So then I tried the Bar code scanner wallpapers and Android themes.com and same thing!

But when I go to the lockscreen wallpaper in settings, it only allows me to choose a few OEM wallpapers. How can I get the apex wallpaper onto the lock screen?This is a minor annoyance, but is there a way I can theme the top of my phone where it tells me the time/cell signal to look like stock ICS? However, I can't seem to manage this at all.
Does anyonw know if this is possible or if it is an error in the HTC manual?
The reason being I would like to have a nice bright lock screen image but a normal black background for when apps and widgets are all over it.
When I take a picture with my Galaxy S it looks great on the phones screen, but when I save it as wallpaper it gets blown up so big that only a small portion of it is visible on the home screen.

So a while back I saw a app that let you set your wallpaper to the public feed of a webcam. They had a big list of webcams you could use or you could add your own feed. There was one feed that was a view of the earth from a satellite, and you could watch the shadow creep across the planet as the day went on. I thought that was pretty cool, however can't find what app that was.
