HTC Legend : Way To Permanently Sort / Arrange Bookmarks?
May 21, 2010Is there anyway to permanently sort and arrange my bookmarks? I've downloaded a few bookmark apps but theyre crap so I got rid. When I'm on a webpage and go to menu - bookmarks and then choose sort by most visited they always reset to the order i bookmarked them, newest first next time I go online.

Feb 10, 2010For instance, we are in SomeActivity and the activity has a button that invokes moving files from one dir to another (let's call it job).On Android things change. I know there's the AsyncTask that is probably provided to solve my case. There's even a good example of how it should be used. But since there's no guarantee of how long an Activity instance will live the AsyncTask should be cancelled on onSaveInstanceState (and restarted on onRestoreInstanceState). This means using AsyncTask there's no guarantee we are able to fully fulfill the job once started. In some cases as sending an http post request for creating a user I would not want to get in "user already exists for this login" trouble on reruning the AsyncTask. This is possible since the AsyncTask can be interrupted while the request is already sent (and the server actually is doing its job - creating a new user), but the AsyncTask is canceled before we got the response.

Jun 11, 2010Looks like the bookmarks within the Bookmarks Widget are posted in the order that you surf and are NOT subject to any type of sorting. However the bookmarks within the Bookmarks Application launched from the browser's menu are sortable. Is there any way to make these two independent bookmarks list sync with one another. I know there's an application out there to manually sort the widget's bookmarks but I want them sync and match.

Is there a file within the rooted Android system that can be edited to change the order of the application while booting up the device?
For example:
After you Flash the ROM, if you have installed Application "A" the Application "B" ..."C"...etc.
When the device is booting, some times you find that Application "C" is loaded before Application "A".
What i need is:
Application "A" to be always loaded FIRST then "C" then "B .......etc...
I tried to check "init.rc" and some others without success...

Oct 10, 2010Just thought I'd share that I downloaded Dolphin HD and it really is quite different from the stock browser. Seems faster, has nice features for eBay and Amazon, and just like how it handles. Maybe because it's different.
Question for Dolphin vets: I use the bookmarks widget as one of my homescreens, and when I click a bookmark, it does it via Dolphin. Fine. But when I click on the little globe at the top, it defaults to the stock browser. How do change this to be Dolphin? I've looked under Settings > manage apps, but nothing really asked me about which browser to make default.
