Does anyone know where I can find the live bookmarks .apk, Im not crazy about the market version because of the star icon. I'm looking to change the png to something else. I would appreciate any help I've searched for some time and can't seem to locate a source.

However the bookmarks within the Bookmarks Application launched from the browser's menu are sortable. Is there any way to make these two independent bookmarks list sync with one another. View 7 Replies View RelatedJust thought I'd share that I downloaded Dolphin HD and it really is quite different from the stock browser. Seems faster, has nice features for eBay and Amazon, and just like how it handles. Maybe because it's different.
Question for Dolphin vets: I use the bookmarks widget as one of my homescreens, and when I click a bookmark, it does it via Dolphin. Fine. But when I click on the little globe at the top, it defaults to the stock browser. How do change this to be Dolphin? I've looked under Settings > manage apps, but nothing really asked me about which browser to make default.

I have had an Android phone since G1 and had a Desire for almost a year and have always been waiting for Google bookmark sync.
There seem to be apps that will pull in google bookmarks into the browser, but that is of limited use. I want to bookmark something on my phone and have it available in iGoogle on my mac or my work PC. It's really not hard and can't for the life of me fathom why Android doesn't do this out of the box.
I am essentially using a listview but am looking at providing a bookmark functionality. I am thinking that I should store the item attributes in a file when bookmarked and retrieve when required to populate a bookmark listview.
I was wondering if there is a de facto standard used in achieving this or do I follow just the "writing into a file" and "reading from a file" when necessary style?
I have got all my bookmarks within Google Bookmarks. Is there an app which will sync this to HTC Hero?

I know a lot of websites now use an "apple-touch-icon" file to allow iPhone users to put a logo'd bookmark onto their homescreen. Is there a way to do similar on Android (specifically HTC Sense).
Whenever I try I just get the Sense bookmark icon, with a tiny favicon image in the bottom corner of it.
I am kind of new to the G1 and this site. I've only had my phone for a few weeks. I've been using the chrome browser for it's download functions, but I can't seem to figure out the program in depth. There's some buttons that will flip between pages that are open, but I can't seem to figure out how to save bookmarks with it. Is there a text file or instructions on how to use this program?

I know how I could do this manually but would like to find an automated way so that I can always keep them in sync, does anyone know of one? I was wondering if there's a location on the filesystem where dolphin stores all the bookmarks, I did look but couldn't find one. It would just be nice to be able to click a bookmark and have the browser open at that page rather than open the browser, go to bookmarks and then find and open the particular bookmark.

Is there a way that I can still use the default 'Bookmarks' as I Luv that widget rather then having to keep going into 'Home' in 'Dolphin' to find my bookmarks. Is there any way to keep my dolphin HD bookmarks synchronized with the bookmarks I use in chrome? I always found it very helpful, since I use chrome (and chromium) in at least three different computers and I never have to worry about my bookmarks because when I change them in one of the browser's instance, the other ones just change, having all the same ones. How to do the same on an android system?
