View 2 Replies View RelatedI use a Google Apps e-mail address (i.e. it's tied to my domain) and GMail can work with this fine, but when I tried to purchase something from the Market it said it can't use this and I need a googlemail e-mail. I have one so I entered that, but now I want to use one I have set up especially for this purpose but I can't see how to change this relationship. If I stick a different SIM in, the Market now asks me to confirm the account password but it won't let me change the actual address. I'm running 1.5 on a T-Mobile Pulse.

View 4 Replies View RelatedIs there any way of using the Android Market without having a google mail address?
I don't want a googlemail address. Fair enough having to create a google account.. but i don't like googlemail, I can't get the user name I want and I already have 6 other email addresses to manage.
Any way to get around this?
I got my HTC Hero a couple of days ago. Configuration went fine and I really like the phone. But for some reason, when I click on the Mail icon, rather than giving me access to my Gmail inbox, it wants to configure a new Exchang Sync or other pop3/imap account. I configured my Gmail account when setting up the phone initially and have gone back to factory settings a couple of times, with no success. I know that my Gmail/gcalendar data are there. Currently, the only way to access my mail is via notifications (so only when I get new mail). Any suggestions for solving my problem.

View 10 Replies View RelatedI'm wondering if there is a way for me to access Domino Web (work email through the internet) from my Samsung Moment. I have no problem accessing my work email from any regular computer, but when I try to access it with my phone a message comes back saying the server is not available (ie. it won't let me in from my mobile phone). I don't know if this is a firewall security thing with Lotus Notes/Server administration or if my phone's browser can't handle it. Is there a certain android browser I should be using or is there an app that I can download that will allow me to access my webmail? When a mobile device tries to access a site, does the site know it's a mobile device? Is there any way around this? The way I access work email through the internet is by going to a specific web site and logging into the site. From there I can see my email. I can't do this with my phone.

I've understood that there is "Market" rich of applications but unfortunately i hvn't setup internet yet, i can't access to Market.
Do anyone know url if i can access from my laptop and then install it on G1 through SDK.
I need to install Video Recorder and other good applications.
I tried to know what the shit cupcake is but flunked as its above of my understanding. However, i'll keep on trying to know how could i do for my G1.
But for instance, i need url of Market.
So I've *finally* got my Desire after much hassle with T-Mobile, and it's shiny and lovely and new, but I can't access the Android Market When I open the Market app, it takes me to the page to set up my Google Account, I enter my details, it thinks about it for a minute or two, and then tells me that I 'don't have a network connection'. It asks if I want to connect to a Wifi hotspot, but I'm already connected to the wireless box in my flat. The Internet's working on my phone, because I've been surfing the web and going on Facebook, YouTube etc.

2: What is rooting, and what is the advantages from what the Hero is able of now?
Between looking around here and on androidzoom, I found a couple of apps I want. Problem when I use myphone to access the market, it says that they aren't there. Specifically, I am looking for Launcherpro beta and Adobe Reader. If I find them in androidzoom and scan the barcode its not there either. Short of rooting my phone to install market enabler, is there anything else I can do ?? Or are these not appearing because they won't run on 1.6 ?
