i got b-folder... but you can only lock stuff you created using b-folder in it..
i can't for example put a music folder or video folder or excel file in it to prevent unauthorised viewing and stuff.
I have to say that I don't find Android's photo management intuitive. Having got to the bottom of how to set up folders for photos, what would be very useful would be to be able to choose which folder photos get put in as they are taken, rather than having to tinker about with a file management program later on (none of which seem to use thumbnails anyway). Am I right in thinking that there is no way to choose a folder from the inbuilt camera? Is there any other camera app that would let me do this?

View 4 Replies View RelatedIs there an application that will allow you to browse to a folder on your phone/SD care and view the photos inside? If it were on a linux PC I would be installing GThumb, on windows ACDSEE. I have tried Photo Burst. It crashes and I had to reset the phone. I have tried Picture Viewer but the latest version does not pan at all. The only way to do something like this with the stock viewer is to have all your photos in the root of the sdcard in folders or within download. Not really the neatest way of doing this.

View 2 Replies View RelatedIs there an app or way to keep photos organized? I use a lot of different photo apps and they seem to store things in lots of different places (some in DCIM, some in Pictures folder, some in their own folders, etc.). I know how use a file manager to move things around, but what I would really like is this:
Set up a picture folder (or just use the one that is already there). Inside that, set up folders for each of the apps I use (or no folders at all, just ALL the pictures). Then have pictures go into the correct folder as they are taken (not manually).
I have a rooted LG G2 but not any custom ROMs.
Can you change the directory/folder that photos are instantly saved to? Currently mine are going to /sdcard/DCIM/100MEDIA

I'm very close to buying the desire from mobiles.co.uk (110 handset) and Vodafone (600 mins, unlimited texts, 1gb internet, 24 months). I have a few questions which I would be incredibly grateful if you could help me with.
1.) - How do I put my iTunes music on to the Desire?
2.) - What is the PC Software like, and do they have or plan to have a iTunes version for Android any time soon?
3.) - Can you make folders on the Desire to put photos in?
4.) - Is 1GB enough, if I have 3G on but not using does this still eat up my allowance?
5.) - Can the Androids phones get viruses if you visit unsafe websites?
6.) - And with Vodafone does your monthly bill show the websites you have visited?
I took a bunch of photos this weekend and they are sitting in the camera folder in the gallery. How do I save them to the phone?
View 1 Replies View RelatedJust trying this out on photos of photos. And yes it works. These are my own shots taken with a DSLR, they are printed and hanging and I used my Captivate to photograph them off the wall. The first one I instantly re-tagged because I didn't realize the exact name of what I photographed. Another way to do this is to use a flickr app, like "Just Pictures" that can push shots to Google Goggles for analysis, but I was just trying this straight from my wall. Goggles by nyer82, on Flickr. View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm very new to android development and to get started I've started modifying the android ask sample 'shape wallpaper'. I've added a touch ripple, change resources etc and removed the more basic example. If I have my se xperia x10 plugged in and run the app it downloads to the phone and once started works great. I then unplug the phone and the wallpaper keeps working for approximately 24 hours. It then slows redrawing dramatically then displays nothing - I can't even load the settings page
