When I check in the settings of my X10 Mini Pro, it says that there's an update available and I need to check PCC to update. When I start PCC and plug in my phone, it says I am fully up-to data Can anybody help? I think my phone is generic

Phone tells me there is an update and I updated it.But nothing appears different. Anyone know what the update was?
View 5 Replies View RelatedI have a simple app with a surfaceview nothing special one would say. However when installing on my phone I get two warnings.
1 - Phone calls
- read phone state and identity
2 - Storage
- modify/delete SD card content.
My really is nothing more than a simple puzzle and I dont understand why I get these warnings.
Is there an app that tells how much battery each app uses? My phone is literally lasting me about 2 hours before the battery dies.It started before the facebook update so it's not that. I looked at my battery stats, it just says android system 99%.I am getting so frustrated.I may try flashing back to littlekernel, I have meatkernel now.

In the package explorer: -the project name has a small red x, indicating that there is an error in one of its files -none of the sub-folders or files have an x or show any red highlights None of my code has errors! I was looking at Google's Nexus One order page earlier today and I noticed that Google is actually recommending the EVO for Sprint customers. It makes it seem more and more likely that the EVO will be one of the first phones to get the Froyo update once it's ready for the public.

1. Let it check the settings and it goes through fine.
2. Delete the POP/IMAP account off the Inc and added it back
Still can't get it to email anymore...
I just got the magic yesterday and so far I'm loving it. Just have a couple questions about texting. When I receive a text it usually tells me the time in eastern time though I'm pacific. However, my sent messages come up with the right time. This makes it so that threaded sms is kind of useless. Everything is all out of whack. Also, every once in a while it just won't even give me a time and there has been once or twice(after fiddling with it for a bit) that it gave me the right time but it just went back to the wrong time right after. Could this be a problem with the phone or is it rogers' fault? I'm assuming it's getting the time from the network and they have it wrong(meaning I can't fix it) but I just wanted to see if anyone else has had this problem.
Also, is there any way to make it vibrate when I receive a text? I feel dumb for asking this as it seems like it should be something really obvious but I can't seem to find it anywhere.
I'm sure its been covered somewhere but does anyone have an explanation as to why when I open advanced task killer it tells me a bunch of apps, that I didn't open, are running? Doesn't really slow my phone down too much, just annoying... Running Eris Root KaosFroyo

View 2 Replies View RelatedI have an X10 Mini that when new was locked to the Orange UK network but I have since unlocked (but not unbranded) it and now use a different network. Which Android 2.1 update will I need? Generic, Orange or the new network provider? If it is the generic one will this also have the benefit of unbranding the phone and getting rid of Orange apps? If it is the Orange upgrade will the phone become locked to their network again and require unlocking again?I need the phone to stay unlocked for the future.

When should I be prompted that an update is available via PC Companion? because when I look in the phone settings and check for updates it says there's one available, but not on PCC?
I followed the instructions in PC companion and after the last screen with disconnect the cable and boot up it started u fine but then nothing happens, this was an hour ago. Anyone had the same problem?

So I got put on a waiting list and my phone came in a week before 7/1 but they said there was no way they would do it even if I was told during a sprint chat session that I could. View 6 Replies View RelatedYesterday (08/08/10) my X10 said there was a new update available and to download correctly I needed to connect it to a computer update through PC Companion 2.0. I did this and followed all the on screen instructions correctly. I got to the final stage and it asked me to disconnect the phone switch it off remove the battery, reinsert and then turn it back on again. The instructions said it may take awhile for the phone to come back on again because the phone will be updating. So far my phone has not come back on again after 24 hours of waiting, all that happens is the sony ericsson logo is displayed for about 10 seconds and then the phone turns off then the same process is repeated. Any ideas whats happened or what I can do to fix this or will it be a job for Sony? I have emailed them but of course they were absolutly no help what so ever.

View 6 Replies View RelatedThis might change some people minds. Sony Ericsson X10 2.1 update release date (supports multi-touch after all!) . It doesn't seem categoric, but it sure sounds exciting. I have to say that an X10 with 2.1 and multi-touch would be the best Android phone this year!
