Samsung Galaxy S :: Phone Locks Up / How To Resolve?
Had my galaxy S for just over a month and it's a great phone until last night and today when it has started to lock up on me. I have had to remove the battery to kill the phone and then restart it. When it has locked up it displays the following message. Activity Phone (in process com.Andriod.Phone) is not responding
Any one had this happen and what is the cause of this, what do I do to resolve it ? or is it a repair job. Any help would be great as I have had to restart it 6 times today.

Samsung Captivate :: Phone Locks While In A Call?
Okay this is incredibly annoying. My Captivate locks while I am in a call. If I pull the phone away from my ear, the screen will stay blacked out until I press the power button. For a split second, the screen shows locked then automatically transitions to the phone UI. Even if I use speaker phone, the phone eventually locks and I must depress the power button to end the call or dial other numbers. Is this normal for this device? I previously owned the iPhone 3g and the screen would black out, but would come right back on when you moved the phone away from your face or if you just shook the phone a bit.

Samsung EPIC 4G :: Wall Charger Locks Up Phone
I just bought a car charger/wall charger on ebay from a reputable seller. the car charger works fine but the wall charger locks up the screen whenever its plugged in. Can someone recommend a charger that works with the phone from a seller on ebay. I have the wall charger that comes with the phone I just wanted another one for the office and I don't want to pay the huge markup that sprint puts on them.

When connecting my Galaxy-S to the Samsung Kies software, my telephone shows up with an incorrect telephone number. I did change the sim-card (and subsequent number) since first using it, but I never logged intio Kies with the old sim-card.The phone is rooted.How do I get Kies (or my Samsung phone) to show my current telephone number?In the phone properties (Menu, Settings, About, Status) the same wrong number is shown.When calling, the receiver sees the correct telephone number. So the issue is not operator related but telephone related.

Samsung Captivate :: Launcher Pro Locks Up / Fix It?
When I press and hold on a widget to move it and let go of it in the place where it originally was, launcher pro locks up and I cant move through any screens. The only way I can fix my problem is to press the menu button, go to applications and force close launcher pro. It's really annoying, anyone else dealing with this or have a fix?

Samsung Moment :: Random Screen Locks
Yesterday I was using my Moment, and had to reboot it... Data lock *cringe*. So it boots up, and I start using it, browsing the internet, and suddenly, without warning, while my finger is on the screen scrolling, the phone locks up the screen. It did it several times more while I was using Google maps, and while I was browsing my gallery.

Samsung Moment :: End Button No Longer Locks
I just got this phone a couple of days ago, and now all of a sudden my end button doesnt bring up the lock screen. it works fine for everything else but pressing it just brings it back to the home screen. is there any way to map it back? because i couldnt find it in the settings and i have turned my phone off multiple times but nothing works.

Samsung : Optical Pad On Moment - When Reen Locks
I've been having problems with the optical pad on my Moment and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions for fixing it? It seems to work fine when I boot the phone up. The problem seems to happen when the screen locks, I hit MENU to unlock and go back into the phone - that's when the pad will no longer scroll/move around to highlight different icons etc. It will generally stay like this until I shut down the phone and reboot. Pressing down on the pad still seems to register though so that part works at least. I'm just not sure what to do. If I take this phone back, it'll be my 5th phone in less than 30 days (it's been a different problem each time and 2 of the times was actually a Sprint rep telling me to take it back when nothing was wrong - like the battery metering issue). Are other people having issues like this with the Moment or am I just getting a bad string of phones (well save 2 of them). Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated - I love this phone - provided that it will work the whole term of my contract.

Android :: Phone Locks Up While Using Listen
Since the latest update of Listen, my phone seems to shut itself off when I'm listening to a podcast and I get an email notification. This happened once yesterday and then again this morning on my way to work. Actually it's more like it locks itself and becomes unresponsive. I have to remove the battery and then power on again. Yesterday I couldn't see it, but this morning the buttons lit up and the led blinked even when it was locked up but the screen just wouldn't come on. Anyone else out there using Listen and have this happen to them?

HTC Incredible :: Updated Firmware 2.1 / Camera Locks Up Phone
My Incredible just got updated to the 2.1 update1 firmware. When the update was installed all of my pictures stored on the phone were deleted. Now when I take a picture, most of the time, the phone will just show the picture I took on the screen but not allow me to to do anything (take another picture, share, delete, etc.). The only thing I can do to get the phone responsive again is to click the home screen button and then the click camera icon (repeatedly) until the camera is responsive again. I tried switching the phone to save to the Micro SD card instead of the Phone memory but am still having the same problems. I have also tried turning GEO-Tagging on and Off but that does not effect problem.

Motorola Droid X :: Phone Locks Up And Goes Into A Boot Loop
So I got my X yesterday. about 20 minutes in to downloading my apps the phone locks up and goes into a boot loop. I was having a mini panic attack right there in the middle of Sam's club! I finally get into the menu and perform a facotry reset. Problem solved? No It powers back up and as I'm going thru the activation process, the phone reboots again! WTF! I wait for it to come back on and I finally get it activated. Well as I'm going thru the menu checking the settings it reboots AGAIN. So all in all last night it randomly rebooted about 15 times while I was doing something different almost everytime.

Motorola Droid :: EBuddy Installed And Phone Locks Up
At first I thought it was a battery problem but just recently I booted up fine. The phone was working great as usual, but I loaded up eBuddy and went into landscape view by pulling out the keyboard, my phone locks up. I had to do a battery pull, and now when I try to turn on the phone, it just shows a black lite-up screen. This exact thing happened not 2 days ago when my battery was very low, but this time my battery was fully charged. Also, the phone won't 'turn on' now.

Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 :: Why Mediascap Stops When Phone Locks?
Sorry about the newbie question but I haven't been able to figure this one out yet. When I'm playing MP3's using Mediascap (only player I've tried) the player stops whenever the phone goes to lock. I have my phone set for a 30 screen fade and then it locks soon after that. This means I have to poke the phone every 30 seconds to keep the song playing. I did a search and found something about adding the application to the task killer ignore list by doing a long press on the app and selecting ignore, however when I long press Mediascap I simply get a trash can popping up.

Samsung Fascinate :: Can't Setup Email / Resolve It?
So I just got the Samsung Fascinate last night and am having a problem setting up my email. I set up the gmail which they said I had to in order to access the marketplace - however when I go to the email app to set up my charter email account - I enter my email address and password - it says it's checking incoming network and then gives me an error saying it is unable to open connection to server. I've tried the automatic set up and manual - and I have no luck with either one. I have Verizon as my carrier - and looked on their site and Charter is a server that I should be able to set up email with on this phone. Obviously I"m not that "saavy" with this stuff - and am not sure what to do to solve this problem. Wanted to check here first before calling them.

LG Ally :: App Disappears After Turning Phone Off / Resolve This?
Phone is a box stock ALLY. i have Duke Nukem 3D which hasn't had ANY problems. after I got the update yesterday to VB, the Duke icon disappears after i turn the phone off & on. i have reinstalled Duke about 10 times, deleted its folder on the SD card, uninstalled Duke from the market & also using the droid uninstall. nothing seems to keep the icon on the screen. when i turn the phone off & on, i don't have the Duke icon anymore, its a green droid square with a file name and when i press that to run Duke I get a "force close" message.

Nexus :: Not Able To Install Phone Keyboard / Resolve This?
How do i install that htc keyboard? you guys know which one im talking about. I mean I have it installed but every time i try to use it I get an error message. or at least I did, ive installed the keyboard for now but I want to install it again and get it working. im not sure what im doing wrong but I just cant get it to work after installing it, im not sure if I just downloaded a faulty one or what but can anyone post a link to a download that they know works if that's allowed

HTC Incredible :: Phone Lost Netowork On Mms / Why Is So - Resolve This?
Ok sitting at home, getting ready to go to bed, friend sends me a MMS. So I go to download and I noticed that I have no 3G connection, not even 1x, So I try to download it and it tells me that there is Generic Network Failure. Now I can't make any calls or do anything. It was working fine until i got the MMS. I have tried changing the size to download and just about every setting. I can't figure it out. I love this phone, but now it is starting to make me mad!

I have configured my Samsung Galaxy S using my normal Gmail account. This has helped me to sync the Google Contacts with my phone. Following are my questions: 1. Right now I have about a thousand google contacts synced to my phone. I want to remove them at one go. I know how to disable them from being appearing in contact list, but I want to know if I can delete them without going to factory settings. 2. I am using three applications (a) Gmail (b) Contacts (3) MVOIP. I want to know if there is a way that following combination works: a- Google contacts appear on Gmail app b- Google contacts (with phone numbers) and normal phone contacts appear on "Contacts" c- Google contacts (with phone numbers) and normal phone contacts appear on "MVOIP application". I know how to do (a) - By synchronising google contacts, (b) - by choosing display options (c) - I do not know how to handle this and I want help.
