Whenever I put my samsung s4 on silent or mute, and then receive an SMS it changes my sound profile to normal. I just can't figure out why. I have automate but disabled it and it still happens.

Last night I thought I should try some different fonts on my phone and downloaded an app called MyFonts. I downloaded some fonts that I thought looked nice and tried them but the subtitle for my push notifications would be cut off so I changed it back to my old font (Rosemary). However, it still gets cut off! I already uninstalled MyFonts and tried to change any of the options that I thought could work change it back to normal, but to no avail. restore the size or indents for my push notifications back to normal. It's bothering the crap out of me!! My phone is a Samsung Galaxy Note 3 & with 4.3.

Ive done factory resets etc with no change.
I have bought this android tablet china made. I have successfully download the both BBC IPLAYER apps from Play store but when I play I get only sound but no video? However TV Catchup and youtube is working fine. The tablet runs on 4.2.2 jelly bean and having A20 dualcore processor.

The songs show up and are listed correctly. I can hit play but I get no sound. All other sounds on my phone work fine.

When I restarted my phone after a day for some other reason, I realised that my Sound Search app wasn't there on the home screen anymore and was neither in the widget list.
I tried to download an apk but it just says that this file already exists, so I'm not sure what to do!!
I jut picked up a Samsung Galaxy S3, and I am trying to change my notification sound for text messages. I put an MP3 file in the appropriate folder, and selected it in the settings menu on messaging. It keeps reverting back to the old default message notification sound.
How to get it to believe I want to use a different sound?
I own a galaxy note 3.

I cannot adjust the sound at all even in settings, i must reboot the device everytime it does this.
Is there any known issue with 4.3 or note 3?
The alarm does not sound when my tablet goes into sleep mode until I turn it on and without unlock it, is at this moment that it begins to sound even if the time go over, this is the case with many applications alarm, for the moment I use Alarm Clock Plus.

I recently updated my S3 to run Jelly Bean 4.3, and now when I receive a text it both vibrates and plays the notification sound rather than just the notification sound as it used to. I can't seem to find a way to turn this off?

I can send pictures just fine, but when I receive them, the picture doesn't pop up in the text conversation like normal, it leaves a link to "download" the image. I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 SPH-L900 that currently has software 4.1.2. I've recently been trying to finally update to 4.3 and it seems my phone is stuck on an old update. It's 28.5MB and it'll show there's an update, I'll download it, it'll say it was successful. I'll then tell it to restart & install, what happens next is it looks like it just does a simply restart. It shuts off, shows the Samsung startup screen, and then I'm back to my homepage. Because of this, I can't update the phone any further. I tried going a Hard Reset (holding vol up, home, then power) and delete data/formating drive and that didn't fix it. I also tried going to the All Applications -> Google Services Framework -> Clear Cache -> Stop Service and what this does it brings up the same page for the 28.5MB download and it does the same thing it's always done.

my wife deleted all her photos trying to upload them all onto dropbox. I have downloaded many data recovery programs like stella phoenix and dr fone but i am unable to make the programs see my phone. how to get the Samsung keyboard to be the same on both phones. All settings are the same. the new phone's keyboard doesn't have the small punctuation symbols on the letter keys (like the old phone does). I know this may seem like a bit of a ridiculous thing to have an issue with, but I'm kind of... particular... with the way my phone looks and is set up. That, and I find it to be annoying to have to go to the Symbols section of the keyboard to use any form of punctuation.

Nothing's been the same. I actually like the previous formats for almost every app and widget better.The most annoying and debilitating has to be a random page that pops up that says "you need to periodically log in to your 'Samsung Account'"It displays my email on the top and provides a space to type in a password that I don't have at all. At first I thought it was legit,.I can't even find the bad app or route that this thing came from.
On an unrelated note, the email just became more of a mess and there's no option to check for the SPAM folder.
