I have purchased a couple of games from the android market, says purchase complete but then wont install, also when I turn phone on keep getting a message about sony application user support has stopped and it needs to be forced close?

Is this a great error message. When I retry 15-20 times, it does not work still.
Unfortunately I seem to have had a senior moment and lost the built in user guide for my handset(Xperia X10 mini pro) in the process of replacing my memory card and formatting the one received with the handset (yes I was actually that stupid). Can anyone possibly help me in locating a copy that I can transfer to my phone please?I know I can view the instructions online from my laptop or the handset itself but I would like to get them back on the handset just in case, any help would be greatly appreciated.

I upgraded to Android 2.1 2 days ago and I've pretty much gotten most things that used to work working again, but I have questions/problems regarding the new functionality, can anyone help me? Blue tooth: I am able to send photos via blue tooth, but I CANNOT send a song, ring tones, etc which I could do with my SE 850i I bought 5 years ago. Perhaps if there was some kind of file manager application where I could see the file, I could send from there. In my opinion, blue tooth was marginally improved, but still is NOT satisfactory. Someone please proove me wrong! GEO tagging Photos: This is a new feature with the upgrade and I was eager to try it. In the GEO tagging widget it says to enable GEO tagging from the camera menu. I spent a fair amount of time, but I CANNOT find a camera menu or anywhere to enable GEO tagging. Please help! User Guide Gone: When you use the User Guide widget it says the files have been removed. I looked on PC Companion and confirm, they were removed. I copied the files from PC companion back into the .emanual folder on my phone where the files used to live, but that did not help.Still unable to see user guide. Did anyone get this working again? SMS-ing unsaved number: This annoying problem still exits after upgrade. As far as I can tell, there is NO WAY to sms someone from the call log for numbers that have not previously been saved. I often want to sms a number in my call log that either called me or I typed in. The only way to do this is to save the number in my contacts first. Am I missing something here?

View 2 Replies View RelatedOk basically i've set a song as my tone for notification and it works fine.... except that when i recive an SMS etc it playes the whole song regarless whether i view the SMS or not and refuses to stop :? this is rather annoying meaning i have to put my phone on silent till the song has finished :/ On my old SE phone the music stopped as soon as i had viewed the SMS. I have en event with one our notification befor the event starts... I get the notification with the popup, after I read it I delete the statusbar entry (is this the fault?) I wonder because my old phone (Nokia 5800) allows one to have more than one application open at the same time, and it has a function to enable one to check what's running and to close anything that you don't want to run. Is it the same on the X10? If it's only possible to have one app open at the same time, that answers my question, I suppose - if I open another application, the previous one will be closed. That seems to be the case, but I checked the other day what was consuming so much battery and it turned out to be a game (Labyrinth Lite) which seemed to be running in the background. I've deleted it now, but I'd like to have a clearer understanding of how to check easily what is open.

But people this X10 Mini Pro is a wonderful device. I had to get used too it. But now after two weeks fine tuning the phone I am very happy with it. I am still in doubt if it needs a hardware button for starting and stopping a phonecall. I wonder what other user4s think about this?

I am currently using google navigator but cannot use this while driving as the screen blacks out after sometime, I need to keep unlocking the phone which is not a good idea while driving. I received my new x10 mini phone a few days ago and am really impressed by it.
But...
After the phone has been off, the camera works fine the first time I start it.
And if I close the camera application and start it again straight away it also works fine.
But if I wait for maybe half an hour or more and then open the camera application, the phone reboots itself.
This is very repeatable and it looks like there's something wrong in the software or so.

It has a problem that every few days or so the screen locks up and becomes unresponsive and the only way to reset it is to do a battery pull. My question basically is should I take it back to the shop, or is it likely to need to have android reinstalled or something?
It did this on the very first startup after unboxing, it froze up when choosing the language setting, so obviously it is unrelated to any other apps i have installed. At the time I didnt think it was too much of a problem but then as I say, it started doing it every few days.
I am planning to buy a 32 gb micro sdhc card for my Xperia X10.However, I have found tons of confusing and conflicting information here on SE forums and all over the net.To my surprise, even Sony Ericsson itself giving conflicting information regarding this.On the product page of Xperia X10 (click this link and click on the specifications), it says that Xperia X10 supports microSD up to 16GB only.Whereas the official Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 White paper (on page no.5) says that it supports -microSD, up to 32 GB. (The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 White paper can be downloaded from this link).Now i urge someone, preferably an SE moderator or staff, to enlighten on this matter and answer how and why SE is giving contradictory and confusing statements regarding the sd card capability and compatibility for the same product?.
