Sep 16, 2010I have had the phone for less than a month, worked fine up til about 30 mins ago. a message came through, went i attempted to read it the phone went blank. it wont turn on or off, and battery is internal so cant even do this. there is a green light still flashing, which indicates an unread message. ive tried calling the mobile from my land line and it goes straight to voicemail. any suggestions?

I open th recent call list and click one of the recent calls but instead of dialing that contact my phone dials a different contact which is different altogather. Initially i thought that I have selected wrong contact but recently I noticed that the contact it actually called was way down in the list that it was not even visible.

Oct 2, 2010Ok basically i've set a song as my tone for notification and it works fine.... except that when i recive an SMS etc it playes the whole song regarless whether i view the SMS or not and refuses to stop :? this is rather annoying meaning i have to put my phone on silent till the song has finished :/ On my old SE phone the music stopped as soon as i had viewed the SMS. Is there anyway to do this on Xperia X10 Mini Pro? (aside from physicaly editing and shortening the music track..)

Oct 24, 2010Have owned an xperia mini pro for about 2 weeks now. It has a problem that every few days or so the screen locks up and becomes unresponsive and the only way to reset it is to do a battery pull. My question basically is should I take it back to the shop, or is it likely to need to have android reinstalled or something?
It did this on the very first startup after unboxing, it froze up when choosing the language setting, so obviously it is unrelated to any other apps i have installed. At the time I didnt think it was too much of a problem but then as I say, it started doing it every few days.

I had to get used too it. But now after two weeks fine tuning the phone I am very happy with it. I am still in doubt if it needs a hardware button for starting and stopping a phonecall. It just seems to connect whenever, even if I'm not expecting it, I don't have a data plan and don't intend on having one.Is there anyway to set it use use Wifi instead? Sep 5, 2010I'm just wondering if there is any way of turning the screen autolock off on my xperia 10 mini? It has always been an option available on other phones, you can either lock the keys manually or set an auto lock for them to lock after like a few seconds or minutes etc. Yet this seems to be missing from the x10 mini. I don't mind the screen switching off (to save battery), that happened on my last phone, but the keys (screen) didn't lock at the same time, you just tap the screen to 'wake' the phone again, and it should wake in its previous setting too, such as in the messages folder, or on a internet screen, or on the music player etc. Its kinda frustrating when you are in a lengthy text conversation and they reply just after the screen goes off and you are forever unlocking the phone when it is just sat on the desk in front of you. Same as if you are reading a document and you put the phone down then have to unlock it again when you come back to it. Its kinda annoying. I am more than capable of locking the phone myself when I want to put it in my pocket. Anyone else got any tips? I want to avoid putting the screen time out on 'never' because then I'll be forever locking the screen to conserve battery (and no doubt someone will text just after I lock it.
