I have 2 mobiles x10. When I go to sittings I found text to speech menu in one, but in the other one I dont have that menu. How can I access to it in the second mobile?

Okay, I've downloaded the voice data. When I used google translate, it told me to download TTS extended but as it searched the market, it found none. Even manually, I couldn't find it in the android market. Without it, my text to speech is useless. Please someone help me.

View 2 Replies View RelatedFellas, I've got another question about my X10 Mini.I've been downloading many apps from Android Market and there are so many good ones, but also some others pretty awful.The thing is that unninstalling some apps from the phone leaves me gaps in the menu.I've got pages of the downer menu with only six icons, when the space allows 9. How can i re-arrange the icons to put them in order?Is there an option in the phone as it comes, or do I have to download an app from the market?

View 3 Replies View RelatedMy girlfriend just got an x10 to match mine and for some reason every once and a while, the 3 buttons at the bottom completely stop working. At first I thought the phone froze but I could still use the on-screen keyboard and press whatever I wanted on screen but the 3 buttons wouldn't work oO This has NEVER happened with my phone.
After searching around a bit, I only found one solution which was "if you have a gel phone cover, take it off and see if it works." We tried that and it seems (so far, for an hour or so) that it's working fine. That doesn't make much sense to me as we have the same phone and the same cover - just a different colour. Anyone had this problem before? Should we be bringing the phone back or is there something I'm overlooking?

View 1 Replies View RelatedI've checked the "orientation" box in the "sound and display" settings menu, but the Home and Menu screens will not auto-orient when my X10 mini pro is rotated. It only works when the keyboard is slid open - applications don't seem to have this problem. This is a recent issue, probably in the last couple of days. i've tried reinstalling the software via PC Companion and SEUS, in addition to a "factory reset," but they haven't solved anything. Is there something wrong with the accelerometer or is it a software issue that can be resolved with the next software update (2.1)?

e.g. let's say i had sent out a text stating; "Hi John, I will be at yours next week - you can email me at berty@bassett.com if you need me to bring anything"
so a few days later I'd start a new text. By the time I'd wrote "Hi" the system would offer me the next word as "John" - it had kind of learned what it thought I might want to say next. This was incredibly useful when entering email addresses into form pages.
Now, when I type "Hi", it offers stupid suggestions like "Hit, High, Hill" and other completely unrelated junk.
If I enable predictive texts, it auto fixes words that don't need auto fixing. I sent a text to my sister saying "lolzalot" and by the time I realised what had gone on, it had instead replaced my word with "locally"
Why is this new way of doing things so poor compared to the old 1.6 way? Or at least, how can I get it back to being like it should be.
I bought X10 mini/pro last week. Is there any facility to create a folders in storage area & start storing my SMS on memory card?
I am not able to see any menu which can do that?
Text messages, contact details, even the calendar are displayed with a very small font on the X10. Such a waste of a beautiful large screen. Is there any way of making the default font larger?

That text is showing all the time on my notification bar as a new message, but i can't find it in my messaging app to delete it. How can i get rid of that msg? View 29 Replies View RelatedI just bought an xperia white, mostly because i heard it was a decent starter smart phone and because it was the best one my provider offered. i was fooling around with it on lunch and added a signature to my texts and now WHENEVER i text for EVERY single text, my name comes up beside it. i've only found one thread about it on the forums, and there was no solution. I like the versatility and styling of the OS texting, and tbh absolute hate the handcent styling. Not to mention i don't really want to have two competing messaging apps on my phone at once..
View 5 Replies View RelatedSetup up the MMS APN correctly in mobile networks, if there is nothing in there, select sony erricson in the top menu in side settings, and download network settings.
Go into the MMS APN and setup as per the attached document.
Basically when a text is more than 1 is goes via MMS hence it's failing because the settings for this for vodafone on the X10 are incomplete...figures!!
Once your done power the phone down, take out the sim card power the phone back on.
Once in turn it off put the Sim card back in power up and your done you can now send
