I bought X10 mini/pro last week. Is there any facility to create a folders in storage area & start storing my SMS on memory card?
I am not able to see any menu which can do that?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI bought a new Sony Ericsson X10 xperia mini pro.. it has a 2GB memory card..but since i want to expand the memory i bought a new 8 GB memory card and inserted it..and when i restart the phone, the phone shows SD card removed. Insert a new one. And definitely the SD card is not corrupted since it works fine on the other phones. If the problem is with my phone then it should not be detecting the 2 GB card but it detects only that card and not the new one.

View 1 Replies View RelatedSince last 4-5 days, I am seeing that whenever I connect my phone to my laptop (using usb), the phone restart and during this time I will have access to memory card for few seconds (30 sec), after that the card gets unmounted (from PC) and I will see a warning symbol (yellow triangle) on phone's notification bar. So i am unable to copy data to and fro from my phone. All this trouble started since I upgraded to 2.1 Note: I have checked the memory card by putting it to another phone and it works fine.

After i off & on and inserted the SD card, take 1 or 2 picture(s), it will prompt me again. Then, watever picture(s) (the latest one) was not saved... I can only view all the old pictures only Next, when i deleted all the pictures in the album, they will still appear again after i off & on the phone... Tried deleted them from the Media Go but still after off & on, they will appear again.

I am not able to drag down the notification area when I am holding the mobile in portrait mode.
If I shift to landscape mode (by sliding the qwerty keyboard out), then when I press at the top status bar, I can drag the notification area down.

I am a bit confused because in the specs on the SE webiste it says that the memory can be expanded up to 16 GB. If MicroSD has a maximum storage capacity of 2 GB and the phone can't handle MicroSDHC, how do I get more memory?
I have a notification which says the phone storage space is getting low. Any idea how to move anything from the phone memory to the sd? Or how to make downloads go to the sd? The sd is only quarter full.

I have checked the user manual but it says nothing about playlists. i inserted my previous memory card (which was used in a blackberry 8520)
And had playlists that i had created before, but i cant add songs or make a new playlist.
What I've gone and done is delete my gmail account of the Internet without realizing that it was linked to my x10 mini.
I've been through all of the settings and can't seen to find out how to create a new account.

View 11 Replies View RelatedOK so someone on my other forum was having problems with where to store videos on the SD card so that Mediascape can 'see' them. Easy I thought, but I spoke too soon. So now I bow to someone else's superior knowledge, where the heck do you store them? Tried Video, Media, getting desperate DCIM file and just plain old root of the SD card.I know 3rd party apps can find them... got MixZing and it found it no problem from the video file.

The symptoms:
I turn it on and it gets as far as the splash screen which says sony ericsson and shows the SE symbol and it gets no further. No error messages are displayed and it remains in that state until the battery runs out. The only action I can find is to press the power button and the middle button for a second or two to perform a reset but this results in it rebooting and getting to the exact same point. Plugging into a computer to charge up seems to charge it but when the power is sufficient it boots up and gets to the same point. PC Companion asks for me to mount the phone which is obviously impossible as i have no interface.
Possible causes:
Before this happened I put the phone into airplane mode. After doing this it displayed a message related to running out of space. This was strange as i haven't added any applications or even been using it as I am abroad. I deleted some data from a couple of applications that I don't use and restarted to the behaviour described above. The applications were user applications and completely unrelated to the system. Even a master reset if this is possible without being able to boot up the phone?
When i have download the game or application and install in the phone, it install those on the Internal Phone memory. Does it have option to install in on the memory stick? i didn't found it the setting.
As our internal phone rest only 120MB only, we can only install not much application. Does every one know about how to change this option?
Are the downloaded application stored in phone storage? How do i transfer these application to my memory card storage? I don't seems to be able to find that option.
