When i'm connected to my router at home via wifi, the connection randomly drops from time to time. My laptop and TV is fine which are both running via the internet. The setting is set to stay connected always, even when the screen goes black.
Does anyone have a resolution for this? Perhaps static IP? if this is the answer, what should the settings be?

As I have 2 simcards (I'm abroad), I need to know what time the texts actually come through, not when I get them when I switch my phone on. This happened with my old phone but not my new xperia.

My sync wont work with sony soft ware due to email not existing to a current account or pass word is wrong, Niether are due to I can log in via my pc no problems
My second new issue since the so called up date is my wifi keep looseing it connection and unable to connect again even though the passwords not change and the single strength still the same.
My point is are othe people having similar issue and is sony aware and will the soft ware update pos when ever they are going IF going to happen pos sort this out.
My question is how long should I keep my new x10 mini charging for the first time? Is it OK to disconnect it when fully charge or should I leave it for some hours in charging?

My problem is that I can get the phone to connect to my home wifi, ping it, use Skype, BUT I cannot get it to browse the net or download from the market. I have a Google Calendar that is synchronised to both my Palm and now mu X10. I notice a strange "one hour shift" issue with my X10: every appointment after the Daylight Saving Time is shifted from one hour on the X10. I figure that this is related to the way the X10 handle the daylight saving: the automatic setting for the time zone is GMT+02:00:HMG+2:00 whereas Google calendar says correctly that Paris is on the GMt+01:00 with a one hour shift due to summer time. Is there a way to fix this issue that prevent me from using the agenda?

But one thing that is really annoying is that it is all too easy to accidental go into the arrange icons mode by mistake without even realizing it. Quite often I look at my phone and my address book, or calls have disappeared from the corners and now sit with the icons. Is it possible to extend the length of time needed for a long press?

When I have wi fi turned off, as I can't connect when I am not in work anyway I use the usual O2 facilty however in this mode, I cannot download anything. For some reason, every time I open Android Market, it tells me I have to turn on data services, even if I'm connected already to wifi, and then it keeps interrupting because of the poor 3G connection. But...
After the phone has been off, the camera works fine the first time I start it.
And if I close the camera application and start it again straight away it also works fine.
But if I wait for maybe half an hour or more and then open the camera application, the phone reboots itself.
This is very repeatable and it looks like there's something wrong in the software or so.
You can use the 3G network for surfing the Internet and at the same time the wifi network to move files only?
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've only had my phone a couple of weeks and pleased with it now that I have installed many of the recommended free apps.
I have one problem though with the bluetooth. When I connect to my car bluetooth, everything is fine for 8 minnutes - calls can be made and received but then the bluetooth drops. As this happens when I am driving the easiest way to reconnect is by pressing the connect button in my car (ie not on the handset). It re-connects straight away and then works perfectly for the rest of the journey. This happens everytime I am in the car !
I'm fairly sure the problem is with the phone as my Nokia5800 did not have this issue.
