Does anyone else have a problem with downloaded video files and the sound being out sync? Tried numerous files and players, but the sound lags the pic enough to be bloody annoying!I've tried Mediascape, Act 1 and mVideo, al with same result.

I am unable to sync Phone Contacts with Sony Ericsson website (but the Calendar and Bookmarks are syncing).
View 4 Replies View RelatedI was surprised that SONY is not providing a software which enables the user to sync the Xperia X10 mini pro directly with your computer (e.g. Outlook).
After wasting a lot of time I generated an account at Sony webpage and managed all my accounts including "birthday" but now I found out that the
phone is not creating a corresponding calendar entry and therefore my phone is not reminding me for any birthday.
I made a account on the community of sony erricsson so i can sync and update my data from the net.
The first sync of contacts, calander etc was oke.
But since a couple of days i cannot sync my contact with Sony Ericsson, i Tried to connect but always the same : sync failed .
Checked the internet connection and al seems working properly, gmail sync oke, all oke except the sync with Sony Ericcson.Any a idea how to resolve the problem .
Perhaps a setting but seems strange because nothing as changed since the first time.
I saw that there are already a number of discussions about sony erricson synchronization but I cannot find one for this specific message: Synchronization failed. It wouldn't tell me why it failed, it just spits out that generic message after I click "Finish" in the Sony Ericsson Sync Client Wizard.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'd like to use my X10 to keep all of my contacts' postal addresses in instead of the tatty old address book I carry in my handbag(!) I didn't fancy typing them all into the phone, so thought I would use the Sony Ericsson sync and put them into the pc first via the PC Companion sync application, and set up the sync to transfer them into my phone. I have tried a test run adding only a couple of addresses to my contacts on the pc, and adding one to my phone, but when I do a sync, the addresses don't transfer either way. I know that the actual sync is working because I added photos too and they transfer....... I must be doing something wrong that is easily rectified?

View 3 Replies View RelatedI have an Xperia X10a with android 2.1. I do not like the 2 piece earbud and mic cable that came with the phone. I have tried a Klipsch Image s2m with the phone and there is significant sound distortion. I've heard that this phone is incompatible with third party hands free headsets that have a mic included. The phone works fine with just standard headphones like my Bang & Olufsen A8's but if i try to use a headset that has a mic it does not work. I'd rather not use the cable that comes with the phone in conjunction with standard headphones because it is bulky and heavy. I'd like to be able to use something similar to the Klipsch Image s2m to watch videos and answer calls. Does anyone in here have this phone and using an earbud/mic headset without problems? If so, can you list the model and make of the headset you are using?
Also I've found that since the upgrade to 2.1, when you use a picture as wallpaper the quality is inferior. It's almost like using a super small picture and expanding it too much. The pictures I use are high resolution 2560X1600. The same pictures I used previously with android 1.6 and had no problems at all using as wallpaper. Almost seems like the picture resizing software takes the pic and crops it but saves it in low quality. I have used photoshop to resize the pic smaller and closer to the resolution of the phone and it seems to be better but still not like it used to be in 1.6.
I'm having trouble setting SE as my default synchronisation thingy. The only options i have are Google or Do not use sync service.

I ask this, because most phones will only play 5.1 with a headset on, but they will state that. Within the last month, I used the Captivate and it stated it only played 5.1 through a headset.

I would like to know whether there is any way to get miscalls notification with sound. I know that the LED will blink to keep me notified but I need a notification tone. I will explain what I need.When I have a missed call on my phone I should be notified with a notification tone at specific intervals till I attend to the notification.Is there any default way on Xperia to do this or is there any software available for this. 4) all this crap for a premium price
What if this was a car or any other equipment, Shouldn't the iron heads at sony recall this product. i feel cheated by buying this phone. at the end of the day this is a premium piece of equipment brought at a premium price and not a prototype.
why is my x10 mini pro sound quality not good with the headphone which was bundled with the phone? when i tried the walkman headphone, it was way better!

View 1 Replies View RelatedAfter the update, the shutter sound is not silent when in silent/vibrate mode. Sony always had this one in a bag. Why does it fail now? Please fix this Also, I am not sure if this is bug, but to activate camera with camera button, now you need to long press the button, whereas before you just had to tap. [Is it a bug or a fix?] But, the previous mentioned is a bug. Shutter should not make a sound when the phone is on silent mode or vibrate mode.
