Anyone know how I can stop this happening? Its doing my head in having to swipe then the unlock pattern after every call. If its a land line I've called I have to disconnect myself.

Every time i lock the screen the SIM locks as well, meaning I have to enter the SIM pin code every time I unlock the phone! Also no one can call me since the SIM is locked. Anyone else got this problem? This happened once in a while on 1.6 but since my update to 2.1 this morning it happens every time.

When I'm playing MP3's using Mediascap (only player I've tried) the player stops whenever the phone goes to lock. I have my phone set for a 30 screen fade and then it locks soon after that. This means I have to poke the phone every 30 seconds to keep the song playing. I did a search and found something about adding the application to the task killer ignore list by doing a long press on the app and selecting ignore, however when I long press Mediascap I simply get a trash can popping up.

It has a problem that every few days or so the screen locks up and becomes unresponsive and the only way to reset it is to do a battery pull. My question basically is should I take it back to the shop, or is it likely to need to have android reinstalled or something?
It did this on the very first startup after unboxing, it froze up when choosing the language setting, so obviously it is unrelated to any other apps i have installed. At the time I didnt think it was too much of a problem but then as I say, it started doing it every few days.
Had my phone a couple of weeks now, very pleased with it in general. But find it infuriating when I simply can't end a call, or use the dial pad to select numbers when calling. Also it has turned itself off a couple of time even though fully charged.

View 3 Replies View RelatedHas anyone had the same problems with their X10's as me? When trying to make a call (to landlines or mobiles) my phone often cuts out with a 'beep'. Sometimes its after no rings, sometimes after 4+ rings and even sometimes after the call has connected. Each time, after i call the person back, it connects without a problem.
I've taken the phone back to the shop where purchased for a repair and tried factory resets and software updates but with no success. Any ideas anyone? I'd love to get this fixed because this fundamental flaw (possibly just with my handset) is ruining my X10 experience.
I signed up for this forum last night and ever since my in box has been clogged up with message notifications. How do I turn them off? I went to "Your Stuff" "Preferences" and anticked all the notifications and pressed save but I get an error message when I try to save my preferences. THEY WON'T TURN OFF!
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy X10 doesn't like charging to 100%, whenever I leave it charging for long periods of time (ex. overnight) the battery will never be at 100%, it will stop at around 95%, then it will stop charging (the icon still shows charging but the battery life slowly goes down). The only way I can get it to 100% is if I unplug the charger for a few seconds, then plug it back in, then it will charge up full.

When I recieve a message and open the message to read it, the music signal tune won't stop and it's keep on going on and on and on, there is no way to stop it.
I have had my phone for a few months now and it works great but every now and again one of my apps stop working for example: the facebook app tells me an error has occured whilst fetching data. or the com.sonyericsson app that I don't know what it does tells me the process android.process.acore has stopped unexpectedly and tells me to force close. I find that everytime I open and application it I can not close it down it just runs in the background. I have tried force stop and that does not work so what is the answer?The more apps you have running the more it kills the battery life. Apple have released one for the iphone so I can not see it being a big problem to have one for the X10 users or I am missing a trick somewhere?

View 16 Replies View RelatedI have a X10 Mini Android Terminal. The phone is very useful and delightful but i can't find how to delete some calls from the registry (answered, missed and dialed). The Phone just gives me the option to delete all the registry.
Can I delete some calls without erasing all of them?
If it's not possible with the phone itself, Is there another way to do it? Maybe dowloading an app from the Android Market?
My x10 has over the past day started cutting all my calls both in and out after about 30 seconds when i look it says there is no sim recognised then a few seconds later it's fine again, also when i try to do a backup it says there is no memory card registered even though i can access things stored on it when it's plugged into my laptop.

Love my fone so far, but had not too much time playing with it so far, but one thing that bugs me is that my screen auto lock straight after a call even if I am not back to my home screen, how can I stop it to do this. First, I thought people where crazy, sending me the same sms two or three times in a row. But now I've realized that they aren't, it's just my phone that receives them over and over again. It is the same thing with notifications. If I set a reminder in the calendar, the reminder pops up in my notification bar sometimes five or six times before I get to angry and delete the whole event from the calendar. Is these problems specific to me or do anyone else recognize them?

View 2 Replies View RelatedJust got the mobile 3 days back.I am unable to make or receive calls on X10 from yesterday. Have tried the following things : 1) Switching Off 2) Updating the software. But both these methods have not helped. Able to use WAP/GPRS but calls are not getting connected. Have tried to change the call waiting settings, phone says Network or Sim Card Error.Signal strength is also pretty decent (3-4 bars). I have tried my sim in other phones Nokia, Samsung, and it works perfectly fine.Have tried other sims on X10 and they too are showing the same error. Can't figure out what the problem is?
