I got this phone with the intention of watching live sports on it. The only site that works, and that I trust, is Justin.tv. But when I go on the site from my phone is says "Your mobile device does not support Justin.tv". Does anyone know if their's an application or program I have to download?

Apart from YouTube, I can't watch anything that involves a video, and for me, that's quite a lot. Any latest news? I did ask before and I was told something about when it gets rolled out isn't the same as when we can actually use it. Can anyone elaborate? Also, when a webpage automatically changes to mobile friendly (e.g. ITV.com) and doesn't have the option that you normally find at the bottom of the page to change to desktop version, is there anyway to change it?

Got the 2.1 upgrade and thought this is going to be worth it. I was wrong.
When I try to watch a clip on YouTube it takes ages to load.9/10 times it does not play.WHY? Also I wanted to see a clip on BBC Sport page. Guess what it�s not supported. I can't even go onto my local radio station website and listen live.Whats the point in this phone.
Wish I never bought it. Stuck with a 18 month contract now
Anyway. Is there a reason why I am having trouble doing these kind of things.Maybe internet settings are wrong.I'm using Skyfire as default browser. I thought it was basic stuff for any Smartphone to be able to watch a clip online.
Pretty pissed off by the youtube app in X10.
Sound is always late by about 0.3s.
Its a real turn off to see the mouth move first, then hear the sound.
Is there any other apps which I can watch youtube in high quality, without facing this sound problem?
Or is there another better apps out there?
I did find/search music album art for every music in my library and now, when I transfer them to the phone card. some songs doesn't have album art still. However, when I connect my phone to media go and select the song that has album art missing, it show the album art in media-go program normally. I wonder is there a way to fix this problem? Does anybody ever have problem on album art missing? (I have check the art that I use for album, nothing wrong with it. similar size with other and it is jpeg)

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I try and send a new message, or forward a message some of my contacts don't show up on the drop down list. I'll type the first few characters of their name and it will bring up a list of the names in my contacts directory but some names are missing so I cannot send a text in the normal manner (I know I can find the contact through the dialler and send a message that way but that doesn't help if I try and forward a message). I've looked to see if there are any strange spaces in the names etc but I cannot fathom out why some of my contacts are missing from the drop down lict in messages. Anyone else have this problem or know a solution?
View 1 Replies View RelatedI have been trying for hours to try and figure out how to get videos to load into mediascape and I have tried multiple different ways. I have copied files directly and I have used Media Go. I have converted the files to mpeg4 with many different conversion programs and I still cant get any videos to show up. Is this a known issue? Is there some kind of setting that I'm missing? I've tried to transfer files from my old phone tthat were in 3GPP format and I converted that. Also I have tried other video files that were not on my old phone and I have had no luck. I have transfered music and photos with no problem.

View 2 Replies View RelatedFor the life of me I can't stand any of the sony-brand apps. After tinkering, I stumbled upon the "stock" android dialer and the "stock" music player - both of which are much better to use.
Problem is, I can't find them!
To access the stock android music app, I access it through an openhome widget. But ideally, I'd just like to have a plane-jane launcher. On top of that, I've found no way to get back into the stock dialer.
Does anybody know how to get the stock android apps to show up in the tray, so I can start using them again?
Can't find way to stop my messages showing in the notification bar while the phone is locked.
Its weird. It only happens sometimes. Is it a bug or a setting?
Seems silly that anyone could read your messages even if the phone is locked.
is there a way to get a contacts picture to show their facebook picture in timescape. I have linked all my contacts with their facebook accounts but it still shows the default white picture. I dont want to have to go through and take pictures of all my contacts. that would just be silly.Apologies if this has been asked before or is a simple fix. I'm new to this smart phone malarchy

View 22 Replies View RelatedI am planning to buy a 32 gb micro sdhc card for my Xperia X10.However, I have found tons of confusing and conflicting information here on SE forums and all over the net.To my surprise, even Sony Ericsson itself giving conflicting information regarding this.On the product page of Xperia X10 (click this link and click on the specifications), it says that Xperia X10 supports microSD up to 16GB only.Whereas the official Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 White paper (on page no.5) says that it supports -microSD, up to 32 GB. (The Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 White paper can be downloaded from this link).Now i urge someone, preferably an SE moderator or staff, to enlighten on this matter and answer how and why SE is giving contradictory and confusing statements regarding the sd card capability and compatibility for the same product?.

But when I do this there is no Sony Ericsson option.
I was surprised that SONY is not providing a software which enables the user to sync the Xperia X10 mini pro directly with your computer (e.g. Outlook).
After wasting a lot of time I generated an account at Sony webpage and managed all my accounts including "birthday" but now I found out that the
phone is not creating a corresponding calendar entry and therefore my phone is not reminding me for any birthday.
So I did some modding (unfortunately) to the framework-res.apk file and it worked the first time and a few other times but then I changed something and now when I turn on the phone it freezes at the "Sony Ericsson" screen before the logo. What do I do?
I tried pushing the backup framework file but it says "failed to copy framework-res.apk to /sdcard/framework-res.apk: Permission denied
However, when I use adb devices, it does show my device as being attached.
So what can I do now?
I was also able to pull files...
Also tried manually putting the framework-res.apk in the sdcard and then using adb to copy it to the framework folder. Doesnt work. Saids that the directory cannot be open for read. I guess the device cant read the SD card until it boots up.
I saw that there are already a number of discussions about sony erricson synchronization but I cannot find one for this specific message: Synchronization failed. It wouldn't tell me why it failed, it just spits out that generic message after I click "Finish" in the Sony Ericsson Sync Client Wizard.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI'd like to use my X10 to keep all of my contacts' postal addresses in instead of the tatty old address book I carry in my handbag(!) I didn't fancy typing them all into the phone, so thought I would use the Sony Ericsson sync and put them into the pc first via the PC Companion sync application, and set up the sync to transfer them into my phone. I have tried a test run adding only a couple of addresses to my contacts on the pc, and adding one to my phone, but when I do a sync, the addresses don't transfer either way. I know that the actual sync is working because I added photos too and they transfer....... I must be doing something wrong that is easily rectified?

I updated to the firmware .27 just a few days ago, and i had lots of new Contacts in my phone, BEFORE i updated.
And then i updated to 27, and all my contacts were removed ( at the time i had no clue i had all the contacts on SE.com database ) so i copied my old contacts from my SIM-card, and just before i synced i saw all my mew contacts from before i updated the telephone in my database, but now when the telephone synced again it replaced all the new contacts in my database with my old contacts from my SIM-card wich i copied into the phone after the update. how i can get my old database back from SE.com `?
After i reinstlled the phone when it started it gets stuck on the Black Screen saying "sony erricson". and it will not connect to companian..
