When I uninstall apps. (I've tried both the settings menu and the app market) my available memory stays the same. I can't seem to get any more memory. Are the apps somehow staying on there? It doesn't show them at all, or is it a glitch in the phone? I running the original OS.

I made the mistake of using the Sprint clip on protectors w/ my Moment. I now have the problem w/ the slider being out of whack (for lack of better word). I'm going to head to the nearest Sprint store, & attempt to exchange it.My question is will I have to re-download all my apps, or are they stored on the memory card?
View 5 Replies View Relatedi just recently bought the moment and so far love the phone. 1 big problem is where my house is located the sprint network is very weak. and the phone now is constantly switching from sprint to roaming but never stays on either more than a minute..on my old cell i could set the phone to "roam only" with the moment and a lot of new phones i notice that option is gone.?

When I plug my phone in to charge, once it reaches full charge, I'm used to seeing the screen come on for a few seconds showing "Fully Charged." But since the update, the screen never turns back off. I can plug it in overnight, and in the morning, the screen is on, sitting there displaying "Fully Charged."

2.pandora sounds messed up. All other music apps soumd fine but the bass is messed up coming through headphones or a stereo.
3. The button on the headphones tha came wih the phone does nothing. Why is it there?
4. No 3d games. I had an iphone with a 400mhz processor that ran games, why did I upgrade to something that can onlybplay games like tetris and bejewled.
5. Sometimes my phone just randomly shuts down for no reason and will reboot to the screen where it shows the android screen.

I've noticed that since updating to CL14 my screen will stay on after the phone is done charging. So I will put it on the charger when I go to bed and every time when I wake up in the morning or in the middle of the night the screen is on.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI start a Service from an Activity, the user presses back, the Activity goes away and the Service stays running in the background. However the activity (and it's views) still stay in memory. I tested this with cupcake and G1. To reproduce I've made a simple program.

I'm wondering how much available memory that everyone has on their Moment.
With just a few apps running, I typically hover right around 40MB of free memory.
-Voice Control (always on regardless)
-GMail
-Moxier Mail
With FeedR running, it's around 35MB.
Normal? Yes? What are ya'll running at any given time?
Sorry if this has already been discussed but I did a search and couldn't find anything. Anyway, I just checked my email on my Moment and downloaded an attachment. When I tried to open it an error message popped up saying "out of memory". I have plenty of memory left on both my sd card and internal memory so I am stumped as to what "memory" the message is referring to.

At that point, my moment started giving a low memory message, it began rejecting messages and voice mail. Basic phone and message functions turned off, and it told you so, all because of low memory, the blue tooth wouldnt function. At what point, is this low memory function triggered and override the functions of the phone. How long will it be before we can just store our applications to the memory card

After I put it back in the phone was completely reset, no contacts, no messages, no email, no downloads. I use google sync to recover all my contacts and such but when I cut the phone off and cut it back on again it is completely reset again and this trends continues time and time again. . and to make matters worse its saying that I have zero internal memory to install my apps again from the marketplace.

But has anyone noticed how much more vibrant and polished the Palm Pre apps are as opposed to Android apps? Take the weather apps for example (Weather Bug or Weather Channel). They are so much brighter and complex on the Pre. I know the Pre apps are far less in number, but the ones that are there seem much more polished. Am I crazy, or does anyone else notice this?

Now, i cannot load any apps onto the phone because it says "not enough memory". Checking the memory settings shows 0 Maximum, 0 available. I've done a factory reset, i've reflashed the rom twice, still no memory.

Why did they only put 512MB of internal memory for app storage on this Epic when the AT&T galaxy version got 8GB of internal memory in addition to the 16GB micro Sd card???
My memory is full now, and without android 2.2 I can't move apps to the SD card. They should have provided all of their galaxy class phones with the 8GB internal memory.
Been messing around with the Moment for a couple of days now. The battery life kinda sucks but the phone is very cool. Fast downloads and the Android Market is great. how to remove apps that came preloaded ie: weather channel, bejeweled demo? Also when you return to the browser it takes you back to where you returned to the home screen telling me it keeps pages running. Any idea how to stop or shut them down when you exit them?

I think its because MAx's recovery isn't loaded but IDK. I've tried the volume, speak, end to load themes but doesn't work. Anyone give me a hand??

So if anyone has any suggestions, please post with the name of the app, description and if it costs or if it is free (free is always good).I just found this app called tunewiki.This is a music app. Not just another regular music app, but pretty cool. So if you have any songs on your phone, you click on it, then it will find the cover art (kind of like what pandora does) but also show the song lyrics. You can then hit the tv tube looking icon and then it will search youtube so you can see the video. And this is free.
