Samsung Moment : Can I View .mpg Flies On Phone?
Jul 4, 2010I tried copying an mpg video to my Moment and it says that "this video cannot be played". I can transfer .mp3's just fine, but .mpg's don't seem to work.

Nov 19, 2009I was just reading in another of the forums here that the HTC Hero calendar does not have a week view. This led me to the Samsung manual (I don't own the phone) to confirm that it does have a week view (*phew*). My question is: How do you go to the next/previous day/week/month when you're in each view? Is it a simple one-click or swipe operation (like in Palm OS), or do you have to back out to, say, month view and drill in again (like, apparently, on the HTC Hero)?

Jun 21, 2010When using google navigation, I am typically shown a top-down view (north is up) rather than the standard perspective, or 3D view.
Is this an issue with GPS? Or is there a setting I'm missing somewhere? I've tried touching the compass icon to change views, but still in map mode.
Android :: Sub Activity Flies In Horizontal Direction?
Nov 18, 2009My current app flies in a sub activity when you flick-up. Problem is, it flies in horizontally from the right. I want it to fly in vertically from the bottom to match the flick direction. I'm sure this must be an xml property somewhere, but I can't find it. Does someone have a pointer as to how to set this?

Feb 9, 2010Here I am with 2 HTC Hero phones, with only one on an active account. I would love to try out the Samsung Moment, but don't have the $$ to just go out and buy one.My hero comes with all it had when new, plus I have an extra battery for it I will add to the deal. This hero has only been used for about a week, and while using it, it "lived" in my Blackberry Tour holster to give it maximum protection. There are no scratches or rub marks on it, never been dropped and I have reset it to Factory Specs via the SECURITY MENU and the ESN is clear and ready to be activated on your SPRINT account.Please email me at sy@rayzel.com if you are interested. Maybe we can work out a swap.Now for the additional 1 to 2 feet of snow that is forecast for this afternoon and tomorrow, on top of the 2.5 feet still on the ground.

Apr 18, 2010Pretty much ever since I flashed over to 2.1 I don't receive any of my emails anymore. The only ones I do get are my work ones and that's connected directly to the Exchange server. I have a total of 4 emails being sent to my phone, My gmail, Hotmail, and 2 from my website exile-designs.com. I have the settings to check every 15 minutes but I never get any. Anyone have any idea's on this? I know the settings are right for sure on my Hotmail because I can pull that one up and see my old email's sitting in my inbox. The other 3 accounts should all be fine as well.

Sep 24, 2010Anyone in the Central FL area that would be willing to help me root this phone? I just got my moment 2 weeks ago. I tried rooting it today by following what seemed to be fairly simple instructions but when I went to do the recovery part, I got this message..."Samsung PST MFC Application has stopped working". I tried going thru the whole process again while phone was still plugged in but I kept getting same msg. When I unplugged it and tried turning it on, all I would get was a pic of a phone, a question mark, and a computer. I had to hard boot it. Once I did that, it was on the 1.5 version. I had to take it to the fix it shop to get the upgrade and my contacts back. I'm very scared to even try this again myself but I want it rooted so bad! I want to be able to use it as a modem for my laptop.

Dec 23, 2009I can't figure out the exact circumstances, but at times the USB connection between my phone and the PC gets broken, and my phone no longer gets recognized. It seems to be a phone-side problem, because it is only rectified when I reboot the phone, but not the PC. The last time it happened was after an incoming call disrupted my PDANet connection. When I hung up, the USB icon was gone, and I had to reboot.

Mar 22, 2010Recently my phone has started to shutdown, restart on its own. Constantly. And I do mean constantly. Several times. Over and over. And over again.
If I go ahead and reset to the factory settings with the CL14 update still be on my phone or do I need to redo that part again? Resetting is about the only thing I can think of or taking it into the store.
