I am not able to see meeting invite sent from microsoft outlook or any other applications. Usually when we get meeting invite we get accept, reject, etc options, but i don't see here.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI looked all around and I couldn't find anything here about Create a Meeting Invitation anywhere. If there is one I'm very very sorry. But here is my problem. I use to have a blackberry and with it I could create an Event and I could invite other people from my email listing. Guess you would call it invite recipient. What I would use it for most is like when I take my wife to her doctors I would get a new appointment time from them and instead of taking the appointment card from them I would add it to my calendar and send it to my boss and myself at our work emails. He would accept it and then it would be on his calendar at work and I'd do the same thing. I know you can do this in Google calendar while on a computer but, how the heck can you do this from the phone?
View 1 Replies View RelatedIn all of the screen shots showing off Google Now, there is always an image of a card showing meeting with someone at a particular location, the time it takes to arrive at that location, and a map of the meeting location. I have not been able to figure out how to get Google now to do this.
Presumably, that is a function that arises from a Google Calendar appointment. I've created meeting appointments and used specific addresses for the meeting location, but when Google Now displays that appointment, it displays the name of the meeting and the address only - no travel time and no map. In contrast, for places that I visit regularly, Google Now does display a map and travel time to those locations. But those are not regular appointments.

I did change the sim-card (and subsequent number) since first using it, but I never logged intio Kies with the old sim-card.The phone is rooted.How do I get Kies (or my Samsung phone) to show my current telephone number?In the phone properties (Menu, Settings, About, Status) the same wrong number is shown.When calling, the receiver sees the correct telephone number. So the issue is not operator related but telephone related.

However, if I tell people that I changed my number and tell them to call/text on my GV number, will it charge anything extra?
I understand that if the call is forwarded to my VZW number, I'll still be charged my monthly minutes, but nothing more, correct?
Also, I had my brother call the GV number and it prompted him to say his name and then forwarded the call to my VZW number, asking me to accept or decline. To me, this seems awfully similar to a collect call. I did change the settings though so that callers do not have to say their names and their calls go straight through.
Basically, I guess what I'm asking is would I be risking anything [money] by telling people to use my GV number for all calls/texts/etc? Or should I just give everyone two numbers, my VZW for calling and GV for texting?
I have been trying to get an invite for a long time. If anybody has an extra they could spare.

View 19 Replies View RelatedI have configured my Samsung Galaxy S using my normal Gmail account. This has helped me to sync the Google Contacts with my phone.
Following are my questions:
1. Right now I have about a thousand google contacts synced to my phone. I want to remove them at one go. I know how to disable them from being appearing in contact list, but I want to know if I can delete them without going to factory settings.
2. I am using three applications (a) Gmail (b) Contacts (3) MVOIP. I want to know if there is a way that following combination works:
a- Google contacts appear on Gmail app
b- Google contacts (with phone numbers) and normal phone contacts appear on "Contacts"
c- Google contacts (with phone numbers) and normal phone contacts appear on "MVOIP application".
I know how to do
(a) - By synchronising google contacts,
(b) - by choosing display options
(c) - I do not know how to handle this and I want help.
I am going to order an Incredible and would like to get a Google voice account and have it setup when i finally can get the phone April 29th. Can anyone please spare a Google voice invite?
View 7 Replies View RelatedI am just curious if we know this or not. I would like an invite, but it seems like the invites are inconsistent in terms of the turnaround time from the initial request. I have read recently how some have gotten an invite the next day and other have waited two weeks or longer. That said, could the N1 be delaying the invites? The Google Voice YouTube channel promotes the fact that the N1 comes with GV pre-installed. Does anyone know if this also includes an invite? I am will to be patient for a little while on GV, but if I have to wait too long, I may just have to go with YouMail.

This has been happening for quite sometime now, earlier thought it might be overwritten while transferring but there on always made sure that the data is copied by browsing phone as a mass storage.
