Samsung Captivate : How Can I Change Font On Websites?
Aug 3, 2010Can someone tell me how to change the font on websites? I tried to do it at the ATT store last night and the phone asked for my google login info.

Nov 24, 2010I got AT&T Samsung Captivate i897 (2.1 Eclair). I unlocked and rooted my phone. I was using simple free phone earlier which doesn't require data plan but after two weeks I bought samsung captivate, AT&T added $25 data plan. I got my phone from AT&T store where my friend works so he took my data plan out of the plan for now but he said they will find out and add into your plan again. Also, He said that they recognize by your IMEI number. My question is: Is there anyway I can change my IMEI number? I was thinking to use my simple free Nokia phone's IMEI number and use it for Samsung Captivate so AT&T thinks that I am using Nokia phone.

In the marketplace I saw a cool windows 7 theme but it said...(the app is by "diceman4") I need another app from the market but when I look for that app I can't find it. Jul 27, 2010I just picked up the phone yesterday and love many things about it however I do not like the look of the UI at all, it looks very amateurish and "cheap". I know there are many themes available out there but do they work on this phone? Does it require a custom ROM? I assume it needs to be rooted to get a custom theme, right? I want something that will change the look of every screen...dial pad, text messages, menus, settings. Imam really not liking the white text on black background.

Jul 27, 2010I always create calendar appointments with an alarm. A few days ago I went to Settings/Sound and Display/Notification Ring tone and set it to "on time". Maybe a day or two later I created my own notification ring tone and set it in settings. The ring tone works fine in Astrid and Nudist. However, the calendar notifications still use the "on time" ring tone. I even tried changing the notification ring tone to "tweeters" but calendar still uses "on time", even after multiple reboots.

Oct 29, 2010I have downloaded and installed Ring droid. I have converted one or two songs to ring tones. Ring droid will allow you to assign that ring tone to a contact at the time you make the ring tone. What I can't figure out is how do you change ring tones for any other individuals? I thought you would go into contacts and there would be an option there, but not. So, I went back to Ring droid and the only way I can find to add a custom ring tone there is to convert the same song again. So now I have three copies of the same ring tone. There has got to be a better way. I know I am knew to the Captivate, but this seems like something that would be a no briner (which I have been accused of being).
