Samsung Behold 2 : Use Adb To Remove Build In Email Client?
Aug 4, 2010What happens if I use adb to remove the default email application? Also, if it wont screw it completely up how would I do this lol?
I have root access and used the 1.6 ROM from microhaxo as well.
Samsung Behold 2 :: Bluetooth - Starts To Stream Music - Even When Music Player Is Closed
May 10, 2010Everytime my phone connects with my car stereo (Clarion FB275btb) it starts to stream music. It even tries to stream if the music player is closed. After I stop the music and and put the stereo into another mode it works fine. If I later get a call it acts normally, but after I end the call it starts to stream music again! Any ideas on what the problem might be? My stereo worked fine with my behold I and nokia 5310.

Apr 30, 2010Dose anyone have any thoughts about the build quality of this phone? I love the specs of this phone, but I am worried that it will fell to much plastic? More than the iphone 3g/s? It's nice that this phone is so light, but I personal think that that can contribute to a poor build quality. Every time I play with the HTC desire, I always is amassed how solid it feels.

May 16, 2010I have learned to hate the stock music player on the Behold II as it doesn't recognize barely any of my music where the stock players and the HTC player work just fine (read tags properly and display album art).
This is killing (well annoying me) having to carry both my iPod and my phone when my phone should be able to do what it was advertised to do instead of giving me a huge list of "Unknown Artist and Unknown Album".
Any solutions outside of flashing a custom rom? (not possible for me as I have a G4 Mac and no access to Windows to run the ODIN flasher).

Mar 29, 2010Has anyone tried using GDE with the 1.6 Roms? I have and it seems the widgets I place on the home screen do not function properly. They become unresponsive and do not update. I like the ability to change the number of home screens and I like the app dock and conversation widgets built into GDE, they work fine. Other widgets don't ie., facebook, battery left, pandora and etc.

Sep 20, 2010Please help, I tried to change from the Galaxy rom to the new 1.6 Take 5 tweak since I was sick of having no vibration. And now after I flashed it, it went to the Samsung bootup screen and now is black and cant be powered on. However my computer still detects it, please can somebody help salvage my phone.

Apr 19, 2010I have a question that I'm not sure if it's even possible since they are two completely different ROMS. I have been running BH-man's Galaxy 1.6 Rom R8 and have been loving it but the two things that have not been working is starting to become a factor and Im really needing Vibrate and the default BH2 camera features. So with that being said, I went ahead and made the switch to the Behold 2 1.6 with No Twiz, and is very fast and nice, minus a few features from the Galaxy rom. Now, I have been wondering if its even possible to have the Dialer & Contact interface from BH Mans Galaxy 1.6 added to this default ROM without it messing anything up. If that is possible, would a pullpush the two files over to the 1.6 no Twiz Rom work? I know that at one point BH_Man has done this in the past but it was based off 1.5 I believe.

Jul 22, 2010I've tried MortPlayer. Mortplayer really stutters and lags (a lot to the point I thought the program completely stopped) while browsing for folders; once inside the folder, the player is fine though. Also tried Meridian and the program took too long to load; it is also not responsive enough for my taste. Basically, I'm looking for an app that can play music by folder - that is as responsive and smooth as FolderPlay on Symbian S60, or the stock player on SE UIQ. Off topic: Really like the Galaxy S' gorgeous screen but also regret getting it at the same time. I guess I have too much expectation for it. I mean with its high end CPU and GPU, I expect it to be like super fluid but it takes longer to start up and to make a phone call than the 5800. Will hard resetting the phone and installing less apps help? I didn't really install that many apps, only about 9 pages filled.

Aug 7, 2010I have a little over 20GB of music. I installed half on the players memory itself and the other half on an external micro sd card that has been inserted into the phone. Before transferring my music onto the phone and memory card, it was all under folders on my hard drived base MP3 player. I really like plug-and-play type MP3 players, non-Apple, and just simply had all my music in folders from A-Z and then the each different Band in a different sub-folder. I am not concerned with tags or album art. Since the phone comes with 16GB, I have to divide all my music half and half.
My questions are:
1. Is it possible to have all the music lumped into one like it was on my old MP3 player?
2. I cant seem to browse the music by folders. I want to have my music set up as 26 different folders from A-Z, then have the Bands seperated by folder WITHIN that folder
I tried downloading MortPlayer and Astro Player, but it doesnt seem to work right. Are there any settings on the phone to manage my music this way?
