This just started.. I have NO idea what it is. Whenever I'm on a call these days, about every 5-8 seconds, I have a 2 tone sound being played over and over "beep beep" every 5-8 seconds.
I dont have any pending voicemail that I know of.. I use YouMail for voicemail. I dont remember turning anything on that should be causing this.. anyone got ANY idea what could be causing this?

When I am in a phone call, sometimes my phone will beep as if I have a call waiting. But I don't. It beeps every 5s or so. The only fix is to restart my phone.

Why isn't this an option built right into the android firmware? why do i need an application for this?

When I have data turned off on the phone, at the top of the notification area it says "Emergency calls only". I don't have any problem making calls so I don't understand why it says this.

Therefore you can press end call quickly on the screen.Reason I ask is that I had a Touch Diamond with a power on off button at the top and having to press that and then press end call on the screen was a real pain.
View 5 Replies View RelatedI hope you can help me out by chiming in on this. I've been using my phone a bit, and it looks like my battery goes down by about 10-12% for every 15 minutes I'm on a call. Is this normal? It seems like my battery isn't lasting anywhere near as long as it should. Extrapolating those figures out, you'd be looking at 150 minutes (2h 30m) of call time per charge - way below the quoted time (7h on 3G). Additionally, I seem to be able to lose about 10% of my battery just browsing the web for 10 minutes over 3G. I have GPS off, but WiFi and sync on.Are you all getting significantly better than this?
View 2 Replies View RelatedI rooted my phone successfully last night and installed MoDaCo.
Everything worked OK. Today I tried Cyanogen and it seemed to work OK. I've tried to install a couple of themes. One worked and one didn't.
I don't know when, but my phone will now not send or receive texts or calls. I still have a 3G data connection (back to MoDaCo) and the internet and Market work fine.
I really don't know what to do. The recovery image "recovery-ra-nexus..." seems to have disappeared from the bootloader. The phone isn't bricked so I guess that there is a way out of this?
SO I've restored my first Nand Backup which is the recovery image ra-nexus-v1.7.0.
It quoted restore complete. I backed up and rebooted. Weird thing is it boots up into Cyanogen ROM!!! And now I have no service, NOTHING!
Does anyone else have this problem? I get an incoming call, slide to answer say "hello", no response. After about 5 seconds, I finally hear the person on the other end. It is like the call is not connected immediately.
View 2 Replies View RelatedI have no clue what just happened but my phone is acting like it did before the Froyo update. Dropping calls halfway through while still showing full bars. Ive dropped out 5 times today and 3 times yesterday.
The phone has been working flawlessly for the past few months and now its become horrible. I cant see how downloding a couple apps have done anything to warrant this. If anything, the apps are games and a few other apps being updated.
Now Im on AT&T and I dont want this to turn into an "its your network" thing, because it isnt. My buddy on verizon with his incredible said hes also been experiencing dropped calls in the last two days (the known too well "beep") and he said hes been fine before this.
When my phone is on the dock and I receive an incoming call there is no sound, either through the stereo speakers or from the phone. The only notification there's an incoming call is the trackball lighting up. Obviously this could lead to missed calls. Is there a setting i'm missing so that I can actually get an audio notification of incoming calls when on the dock?
View 3 Replies View RelatedGizmo5/GV/Sipdroid calls were working fine yesterday over both WiFi and 3g but today for some reason whenever I make an outbound call through my N1 it dials but I hear nothing and sipdroid hangs up after 22 seconds. Inbound calls are fine and when I initiate calls to phone #'s through Google Voice on my computer it comes through on my N1 where I can pick up fine and I can hear it. Complete opposite though when making outbound calls - no sound/hangup at 22 seconds.

All calls were clear, however today when I got home and made a call the call was not clear and had a background noise that sounds like a shower or white nose. All subsequent calls I make have this background noise and I tried rebooting the phone, putting my sim card in another phone (call was clear on other phone), and tried factory resetting the nexus. The noise still persists.
I was wondering if anyone else experienced this problem and what you would suggest I do.

I have been using the stock one, but it gives me fits with my man hands and correcting my texts has been a pain in the ass.I finally sat down and researched a lot of keyboards and tried out a bunch on my Stock 2.2 Evo.Anyway, the keyboards on the marketplace are crap. They promise tons of options, but work as well as the stock keyboard. Then I heard about the Droid X keyboard, and spent about 2 hours installing and playing with different versions before discovering that they didn't run on 2.2I finally found one here that worked perfectly. It is amazing.

And then I try to add to the middle of that arraylist...orderedPlayers.add(2, P);
I get an indexoutofbounds...I also get indexoutofbounds if I use set instead of add...orderedPlayers.set(2, P);
In fact the only way I can add P to the arraylist is if I use the 0 index...orderedPlayers.add(0, P);
And also for some strange reason when I do that my debugger in eclipse sees that element added to the 4th index of orderedPlayers instead of the 0th... is ArrayList buggy or am I completely missing something? how would I add to the middle of a null ArrayList?

The animations are spoiled and the phone shows ugly effects. Or press the back button slowly, and in the middle of the animation press back another time.
- Open an app and press the Recents button. Press the Recents button another time, and press it another time when the animation is being showed.
- Enter in Recents, press home and immediately press Recents button.
- Enter in an app and press an option, and press faster the location of the next option you are going, and you know previously where it is.
