HTC Desire : Zooming Function In On Camera - Video
Jul 15, 2010Would I be right in thinking that when you are using the video camera you can't use the zoom function? I pressed every button and touched the screen a few times but nothing did it, had to stop filming, zoom in and start again.

Jun 23, 2010From all the pre release stuff I saw it looked like the Droid X was going to include a front facing camera. At the announcement today the pictures of the X looked like there was no camera and I haven't seen it mentioned. Is there not going to be a front camera on this phone. Doesn't matter to me, but I'm trying to talk my wife into getting one of these and she really wants a front camera for video calls.

Jan 25, 2010Any of you see a lot of banding on the camera app in medium to low lighting. The flash usually prevents banding from appearing in pictures but when recording there is huge amounts of banding. is this normal?

Motorola Droid : Video Camera Force Closing / Button Not Working
Dec 16, 2009I have taken videos with the Droid in the past, but the past few days, as soon as i toggle the camera switch UP to capture a video, it gives me a force close screen. i have restarted the phone a few times, but same thing..
also, sometimes the camera button does nothing when trying to use it to bring up camera , i have to manually go to drop down list of apps to get to it. not a HUGE problem, but still a problem when it doesn't do what its made to do.

Jul 15, 2010One of the things I really like about the Incredible's browser is the fact that when you zoom in on text, it will reformat it so that you don't have to scroll from side to side to read everything, it makes it all in one column and does a very good job. Does the X's browser do this as well?

Apr 2, 2010I used the video camera on my Eris to record a video, but I can't seem to find the folder that the video is stored in when I connect it to my computer, so I cannot copy it to my computer. I used Astro to try to find it on the phone, but I can't seem to find it that way either.
The file is too large to send via email, and I cannot use bluetooth transfer. I would like to get the video off of my phone, and onto my computer. Any suggestions?

Aug 19, 2010I cant figure out why my camera button is tiggering the volume and not the camera. Every time I press it to use my camera it keeps lowering my ringer volume and when im in the camera mode(from app) it wont snap any pics, it just takes me back to my main page and lower the volume. Can anyone help me out?

Jul 17, 2010So I spent the last hour or more in my backyard in 107 degrees taking pictures of flowers at stock settings with both phones. NOT an easy task I will tell you that. My back hurts, but besides that... I did my best to show the best quality of BOTH cameras, because they are both great. I realize that not everyone will agree with me, or will think I messed with something in my pictures. But these are all completely stock settings, not messed with at all. I only touched the flash on/off button.
My decision is I like the X camera better, it is easier to focus, and much snappier. Plus designated camera button! I found on the Incredible while the pictures look great on the phone itself and in gallery, that as soon as they were uploaded the colours looked washed out and not as great. I know this is due to the AMOLED screen. But both overall great. My decision is the X though.

Motorola Droid : When Receive Mms Video Shows Picture Not Video
Apr 17, 2010I have a moto droid and when i receive a mms it just shows a picture and doesn't actually show the video that is. I have tried handcent and the native messaging app. Any idea on what i should try. I am running chevy v3.0 ese81

HTC EVO 4G :: How Froyo Update Camera / Video Quality?
Jun 11, 2010I remarked to my wife that the video shot with my new EVO looked like home movies from when we were kids. I then saw that the EVO shoots at 24 fps which explains the home movie video look. Will/can the Froyo update improve the video and or camera quality? It's not a deal breaker but when you have kids it's nice to have a video camera with you at all times. I've got 3 more weeks left on my 30 day trial period. I know the i Phone 4 will shoot at 30 fps and the test images I've seen are considerably better than my EVO.

Aug 9, 2010I update my Desire to 2.2 last week and was excited to try out 720p video recording. I slid out the panel on the screen and chose video, it switches to video but then the camera app just quits and I can't use the video camera. This happens every time I switch to video and I've tried turning my phone off and on again many times and it hasn't fixed the issue. I've searched on line and no one seems to be having this issue.
