i am unable to zoom pictures using the phone camera.. mostly all mobiles can zoom using the volume key. but it doesnt happen this way in xperia.. saddest part is that i cant find any option over the screen to zoom my pictures. is there no option at all wid this mobile??? or is there an option of downloading some camera features like these? i dont know. m styuc

View 3 Replies View RelatedI received my new x10 mini phone a few days ago and am really impressed by it.
But...
After the phone has been off, the camera works fine the first time I start it.
And if I close the camera application and start it again straight away it also works fine.
But if I wait for maybe half an hour or more and then open the camera application, the phone reboots itself.
This is very repeatable and it looks like there's something wrong in the software or so.
Earlier in 1.6 after I look for a contact and view it and press back. It used to come to that position itself but now whenever I press back after viewing a contact, it goes back to the initial position of contacts (i.e. the contacts starting with letter A).
Example in 2.1, if I view a contact (say named "xyz") and press back, it takes me to the starting list of contacts but no such problem was there in 1.6 version. That is after I press back, it took me to the same list of contacts I was viewing earlier (in this case xyz,xy** etc.)
What is it and how do i use it and where do i find it.

View 3 Replies View RelatedI dunno, After using the SE Satio and C905, those cameras are MUCH better than this one, Considering those were so great I was positive this one was going to be excellent! Its definitely not bad, but for an 8mp camera its not that great, Its like the W995, it has an 8mp camera on it and its WAY under par, does NOT take good pictures. Anyway Im not really disappointed or anything I just found it a bit under-par, Im willing to bet that the 5mp camera on the Galaxy S will be better than this one, The BEST cameras on cell phones Ive ever used are the Omnia HD and the Satio.
Also Something Ive noticed about all the android phones Ive used, the way they take pictures is.....awkward. Its hard to explain but when I used the satio and C905, they way they took pictures it felt like a real camera, Ive used the Hero, N1, and now X10 and they way they shoot the pics it just doesn't feel the same, again hard to explain without you using so....

After I take a picture and press the 'Home' button to exit the application, it makes the noise, which sounds like there's something loose or something. I'm just wondering if anyone's had this problem, and if it's actually anything to worry about. Also, the slider part of the phone is loose at the bottom, so when I push the buttons I'm actually pushing the screen down onto the keyboard, which is annoying. Is there any way to fix it? Also, I'm thinking that may be the reason for the clicking noise.

I've a few queries about my Mini Pro.
Is the battery life for the mini pro generally this sad? Or is it just my piece that's rubbish? I've noticed that my battery charges pretty fast. Sadly, it drains just as quickly. I'm yet to do a proper test on how long it lasts, as I haven't been able to keep my hands off my phone I'd hazard a guess that the battery, by regular use, wouldn't last 12 hours! I'd charged my phone fully last night. I woke up 8 hours later to see the battery indicator show 80%. 20% discharge for doing nothing? Seriously? I downloaded the Bluetooth File Transfer app, and I'm now able to send files via Bluetooth. Still haven't figured out how to receive files though. How do I send a contact from my phone to another phone? Why would Sony Ericsson not have digital zoom on it's camera?
Please is it possible for me to browse the internet on my pc using my sonyericsson xperia x10 mini pro. Dont know how cause the phone doesnt support Pc suite, only Pc companion, and hence I dont know how else to do it.

View 2 Replies View RelatedHave owned an xperia mini pro for about 2 weeks now. It has a problem that every few days or so the screen locks up and becomes unresponsive and the only way to reset it is to do a battery pull. My question basically is should I take it back to the shop, or is it likely to need to have android reinstalled or something?
It did this on the very first startup after unboxing, it froze up when choosing the language setting, so obviously it is unrelated to any other apps i have installed. At the time I didnt think it was too much of a problem but then as I say, it started doing it every few days.
Xperia X10 was rocking with the earlier android 1.6 version. Now with the android 2.1 update its even more rocking.WOW am loving it. Live Wallpapers is just mindblowing. The phone is still more improved with the update. Additional homescreens and the layout of the homescreen is changed and its even more attractive. New menu applications have been added. And messaging delivery reports pattern has changed. Calling interface has been given a change. These are just some of the changes I have mentioned. There are still lots of stuff which have changed. I thank sony ericsson for bringing out such a great phone. SE team and Xperia X10 Rocks.

I have 2 very good headsets at the moment from previous phones but unfortuneately my mini pro cannot find them.
