I've been using the Droid Dock for a few days and loving it. All of a sudden yesterday it stopped displaying the weather. It just shows "--F:" in the left hand corner. I've tried going through the weather setup over again several times and all the settings are there and correct. I've also tried rebooting...no luck. Strange that it just stopped working. Anybody have any ideas?

2. Hour by Hour Forcast
To access, set your weather setup to manual, set it in the dock, and touch the weather wigit once it appears. Change it to automatic and repeat....buttons gone.
Would be nice if it were available for both!
QUESTION: We all have noticed the intermitant weather wigit over the past few weeks, but has anyone used (2) docks in two different locations (or dockrunner) and had it successfully change your city? I haven't had any success - BUT I am not sure if that is a bug or design...
I have a multimedia dock and, of course, when I insert the phone in the dock the Clock/Weather screen pops up and I like that, but if I have to run something and switch out of them MM dock how do I get back to the Clock/Weather screen without physically removing the phone from the dock and reinserting?

View 8 Replies View RelatedRecently, the weather part of the clock widget has not been displaying the right city. the city is very close to where i live though. it is currently showing "east san gabriel valley" but i actually live in "diamond bar". these are both little cities (very close to each ohter) in southern california. is this caused by the cell tower that the phone is connected to? if i enable wifi, the city does show diamond bar.

On my news and weather app the weather does not show up therefore does not show up in the multimedia dock at night. I have tried zip code and geolocation. It keeps saying when i refresh weather info unavailable. IS anyone else having this problem? This just started happening yesterday morning prior to that i had no problems with it. The news portion is working fine.

Is there a way to display a nickname in the contact list, say "mom." In order to get my Exchange, FB and Google contacts to merge, I had to use everyone's full name.It annoys me to see the complete name on my text threads, etc.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI have encountered a strange issue. I received two emails from the same source with similar (but not quite the same) subject. Both show up fine in my gmail inbox (as expected) on a browser, but if I use the gmail app on the Droid X, it only shows the most recent message. The two messages were received about 3 days apart, the content of the message is different, but the from address is the same and the subject line is similar (just a few #'s different).

View 4 Replies View RelatedI bought the car dock and I do not like it. I wish you could just set the phone in the car dock and have it charge without plugging in the charging cable separately. Would it be possible to use the multimedia dock as a car dock? It seems like the only difference is the polarity of the magnet. Can that easily be reversed (cut out and turned around)? I already have an adapter to plug the USB cable into. 3M makes a great double-sided automobile tape that would hold the dock to the dashboard. Anyone with a multimedia dock willing to try it out and report back?

View 3 Replies View RelatedThere are two parts, the circular disc that sticks to the glass and then the actual holder which suctions against the disc. Do y'all leave the holder attached at all times? Even when you get out of the car? Or do you take it on and off as you use it? I'm just wondering how secure that disc is to the glass.

View 13 Replies View RelatedOK, so there's not too much customizing you can do with the desk dock screen.There are only 12 icon positions spread out over 3 screens.But what have you done to get it like you like it?I've just got my Calender, Sound Hound (in case I hear something on the TV or radio I want to tag), my Music, and my Photos slide show.If I wanna make a call or check the weather, it's here. The "All lables" folder is Apps Organizer where I can access all of my apps and games without leaving the dock screen for the landscape home screen.My internet screen where I can toggle WiFi, check e-mail, browse, or watch YouTube videos.
