My gmail is not working right, it says i have 1 unread message in my inbox but i cant see it, and when i click the button at the bottom to load conversations it just says no connection and i cant see any of my inbox, any solutions?

My main gmail account is not syncing, and to bat will not send emails...My secondary one is working perfectly. How can I fix this without reflashing my phone?
View 3 Replies View RelatedI don't know if it's because of OTA, but when i loaded up an email in my gmail (via the app) the photos loaded just fine. They never did before, and i had stopped trying because of that. Then i did today out of curiosity and it worked. Was this something that happened with v3 and i just missed it?

I haven't tried it and make no claims to its greatness.Gmail Notifier.It lets you change the color of the LED, vibration length, and gives repeat notifications. It also works for multiple gmail accounts I believe.

For instance contact #1 has a gmail account I can see the picture that they update on their gmail account and statuses but contact #2 doesn't show anything from there gmail account. Is there a way to get this contacts to all link to there gmail, if they have a gmail account?
View 3 Replies View RelatedWhen I load gmail in the android browser, at the top it says "Faster Gmail available! Update now" I click on "Update now" and it goes through an install of something. Anyway, after the install the "Faster Gmail available! Update now" is still there. It will NOT go away!!!
A popup also says to change settings of the new stuff it installs go to settings->gears settings. When I click on "gears settings" in the settings menu, nothing happens I cant open the settings. I think my gears install is f-ed up and unfortunately I dont think I can uninstall and reinstall the stock browser and Id rather not do a factory reset.
I did a search and did not find a clear cut answer for this, perhaps I overlooked it.I have a group set up in Gmail (which I set up on the computer).When I go into the Gmail App on my Droid, I cannot select the group in the "To:" field to send an email to the group. Does anyone know how to get this to work so I can compose a new email on my Droid to send to the group?I do not have this Group set up under my contacts, but it is a group created in Gmail.

View 2 Replies View RelatedSince this morning I started to experience a strange issue. It seems like my gmail is synced only one way. I have Nexus 5 running Cyanogenmod 11 M3, Android 4.4.2.
If there is a new email sent to my gmail account, I get proper notification and I see the mail. I then go and delete that email (or mark it as read). My inbox does not have this email anymore. I refresh the mail, make sure everything is synced. Now if I open web gui of gmail on my computer, I still see that email there unread. If I go back to phone gmail, I don't see that email in my Inbox (or sometimes I do), but I can see it in priority mail box or under "all mail". It seems that whatever change I do on phone client is not properly synced back to server.
The same issue manifests also on my Samsung Galaxy Nexus, running CM 10.2. It does not happen on my very old HTC Desire Z, running CM4.
I have not changed anything, it started to happen this morning. Any change done through computer web client is synced correctly.
I have linked my phone to my gmail account.The account contains 120 contacts. However, on my phone it states that Google contains 240 contacts.This means on my phone, although there are no duplicate names, each name has the same number twice.

View 1 Replies View RelatedIt worked before and now stop, Asking the phone to do data sync to gmail emails, turn the sync sign on the status bar. and then the this sign hang there forever and the emails are not sync. I try with 2 kind of wifi + 3gp and nothing, my phone don't want to sync my emails. The strange thing is, when i ask the phone to sync my calender + contacts it's working ok. While asking to sync the emails it's hangs forever.

But I cannot get www.gmail.com to work: when I open www.gmail.com I see the login page, try to login, afterwards the screen goes black and my app/process is killed. I don't see much in my logcat, just some strange debug information is being dumped as below. But generally https sites work fine, and even more complicated login procedures like opening stackoverflow.com, logging in via openid through https, back to stackoverflow, all work without a problem in my webview. Only gmail.com is giving me these problems.......

Well it turns out that I DID have an existing gmail account and want to use that one (the email address is the same as my yahoo prefix and it would be an easier transition for everyone). View 5 Replies View RelatedMy gmail account on the DX is not updating properly.I had 5 emails this morning.I read them and deleted them, plus deleted a few older emails. The phone looks normal like they were deleted. Later I restarted and the phone said I had 5 more emails...and they were the exact same ones I deleted in the morning.So I deleted again and then logged into gmail...they were still in gmail as unread. All worked fine for a few days but now I notice that I get no notification of any type for new mail unless I manually press the sync button.I thought that the gmail was a push like SMS and as soon as new mail arrives it notifies me (yes notifications are on).I just tested it by sending an email from my work address to gmail. Nothing on the phone but it does show if I log in via a regular computer.

I tried sending a test message and it never comes up. Does anybody have any suggestions as why the "No Connection" message comes up in the Gmail app, or how to fix it?
