Sep 24, 2010I'm loving the ROM so far, does anyone know how to remove Friendstream. I tried to use the regular adb commands to move it to apps.disabled but it didn't work. Then I realized that on the Virtuous site he said some apps were put in disabled folder. I still see it in the app drawer and am looking to get rid of it.

Sep 10, 2010My friendstream is blank, with an empty screen saying "no recent updates". When I've removed the widget from my home screen and put it back again, it claims to be loading for a while and then says no recent updates again. When I use the arrow button in the top right hand corner it says that "Sorry the application friendstream (com.htc.friendstream) has stopped unexpectedly please try again." with a button that says force close, which takes me back to the blank screen.
Have you seen anything similar what can I do?

Nov 5, 2010After some googling, i saw this has happened before, i had it for first time 2-3 days ago. It just stopped updating, when i try to open it, it crashes, i cant remove my accounts from it because it crashes, clearing of cache didnt help, reboot also does not help.

Jun 23, 2010Is there any way to fix the Friend Stream force close issue without a factory reset? I feel like that would be a huge hassle just to get this app to work again.
Also, whenever I receive a message in my inbox on Facebook the page just doesn't load when I try to access it from the Facebook application. I am always forced to go to the Facebook mobile site to check my inbox and I can't do it through the app.

Nov 12, 2010When I try to refresh friendstream is gets permanently stuck on "updating" and the only way to get it to work again is to restart the phone.More often than not I can't view updates on my phone because it just gets stuck, but occasionally it will work once. but if I try again I'm not so lucky!Anyone have idea what's wrong? It used to work perfectly before the Froyo update. It's been hit and miss ever since.

May 4, 2010I have friendstream running, and it seems to update twitter just fine, but for some odd reason facebook status messages don't get updated unless I manually refresh.
I have double checked everything too, it should be checking every hour, so I have no clue what is going on. Anyone else experiencing this? Or does anyone know of a solid workaround?

Sep 1, 2010I use twitter to follow various people in the F1 fraternity, the friendstream widget is pretty handy, so I use that on a homepage. A few times now I've noticed that it fails to update from twitter - it simply doesn't get any new stuff. If I go in to peep that also doesn't update. if I start the twitter app they are all there.
Anyone else noticed this / found a solution ?
Last time it was out of a couple of days and then just started working again.

The main points that I like to enjoy is: Droid beat out the phone that beat the iPhone, and the Droid got further in the brackets than any other Android OS phone Some of the progress is due to hardware, some due to following (over the Nexus'), but a lot due to the v2.01 (and now 2.1) version of the Android OS. Also, this poll is open ALL weekend - it does not close until April 5th, so we have tons of time...but then again, so does the Palm Pre. Let's have at 'em!
