When I purchased my droid a month ago, all the pics on facebook for the live/news feed were showing up perfectly. About 2 weeks ago, none of the pictures display. They only have a "x" next to the update. At the bottom of my profile page, there is an option that shows: Photos: Off - On - Max. The setting is set to On.

I am able to access my photos, friends etc., but when I click on News Feed, I get "No Content. An error has occurred while fetching data. MalformedJSON". Deleted/re-installed and made no difference.

This morning my news feed wouldnt load any of the older posts. Then I uploaded a picture this morning 12/24 and it showed the date I uploaded it was on tuesday the 22nd at 4:28 PM.
View 1 Replies View RelatedI'm sure this isn't news to any of you veterans, but this is my first android device so please bare with me. I'm using the facebook app and have noticed that neither the app itself or the widget show the actual facebook live feed or provide a way to access it....
Of course my next thought was "well what if I just use the facebook page in a browser window". Turns out that's not as simple as I thought! Apparently facebook not only has a mobile page, it also has a "touch" page that it likes to route you to. Neither the mobile or the touch facebook pages have a way to access the live feed either....
For some reason, my Facebook App doesn't show the News Feed anymore. It worked this morning, but not anymore. When I click the News Feed button, it just says "Loading User Info" and then it shows my info.Anyone know how to fix this?

View 1 Replies View RelatedWhen I go to www.touch.facebook.com, the default view is the news feed. When you click on the news button, it changes to live feed. However, after I comment on someone's status or picture, etc, and then I click the back arrow to go back to the live feed, it defaults back to news feed. Also, if I am on live feed and click on the home button, it again defaults to news feed. Is there a way to permanently keep live feed on all the time?

When i look at downloads on the browser it will show only the picture you clicked on as being in the gallery, but as soon as you open the regular gallery outside the browser download menu... it wont show up. What I need is a news app, that can create a large widget to give news feeds. But not just one feed. One that pulls from multiple sources of my choice, something likely looking like twitter feeds, but I hate cluttering my social network with 6 different news sources, all spewing 6 headlines an hour.Now I thought RSS Widgetboard would be what I wanted. You can select from a multitude of feeds. But, only one can show up on the widget. Which means I can have one large widget with a feed from one specific source, or a bunch of small widgets, all with different sources, each only giving one headline (and usually only half of the headline at that.)So, all of that being said, does anyone know of an app that is capable of this, or does it just go on the list of unattainable apps to ask Santa for?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI just finished the update to 2.1, and all went well. But when I went to look at my gallery, it downloaded and is showing all of my Picasa pictures! It never did this before, and I can't seem to find a settings menu to make it not do this! I would go ahead and delete the folders it added from Picasa, but before I do this, I want to make sure that it's not going to delete them on my Picasaweb account too.
Did anyone else have this problem? Will deleting the Picasa pics that showed up on my phone make the ones on my online account go away?

Similar to syncing for contacts and email, thumbnails of synced photos are transferred wirelessly, so there's no need to plug your phone into your computer. You can add and select the Google accounts associated with the Picasa photos you want to sync with the Gallery in the "Accounts & sync" tab under Settings. Click on an account and mark the checkbox next to "Sync Picasa Web Albums" to automatically pull your online photos into the Gallery.
It still would have been nice if this were an opt-in thing, but at least I can turn it off...
HTC Sense have 7 big "home screens", which you can navigate fast. I like it a lot! But I would like to create my own "screen" which should be looking like "News" from Engadget one, but from different source. Is it possible? How?

I removed some bloatware using TB and removed the apk responsible for updating my facebook contacts profile pics. I notice this yesterday as my wife had changed her profile pic and status they have not updated in my contacts. This has been going on since the night I 2.2 it and rooted and removed the bloatware. Does any body know the apk (system app) that needs to be re-installed. I have downloaded the system apps.rar file and have all of them, I just don't know which one it is.
Is there an application for watching live news on the Eris? I would prefer to be able to watch CNN Live on my android but any big news channel would do. Also, I plan on placing the eris on the cradle at my desk and having the live news play on it almost all day, will this hurt the phone's hardware because of such excessive use?

They have a strike through line on them. I need the social networking.apk and motoblur contacts sync apk. Can somebody up loaf or let me know how to restore them. I have an AOL account and cannot view any pics embedded within the email. I do not get a exclamation point where the pic should be, instead I just get a large empty space. Is this a problem with my settings? When I originally set up the account, it defaulted as IMAP... should it be POP3?

I have facebook synced up to my contacts so that their fb pics can also be their contact photo, except they only show up half the time. is anyone else having this problem? it was sorta annoying before but now it's really bothering me because I just DL'd the handcent update and now they have the contact pics next to the chat bubble. Is there anyway to keep the pics on there at all times or any reason they go away?
