I cannot find Google's Chrome to phone in the Android market.
I'm running Cyanogenmod 6. I just noticed that I can't find Google voice or Google maps in the market. I do have the apps installed, but can't see them int he market to get updates. I tried out LFY1.7 and Ultimate Droid 1.0.0, and see the same issue.

View 4 Replies View RelatedBefore i posted this I did see 5 other threads about Google chrome but only one stating another phone that will ( possible ) have Google chrome web browser in the phone. I'm writing wondering why if this is a Google phone why doesn't Google and htc implement Google chrome web browser in the phone i mean come on there's opera mini browser in there. I'm not saying anything bad about opera thats other people vote on good or bad but why not have Google chrome in a Google phone?? when Apple makes a device the use what they make ( I'm a huge apple user I work for them ) notice i didn't use the word "fan"?

View 3 Replies View RelatedGoogle Chrome ships by default with a terrific little feature called "Sync". Sync basically allows you to share your bookmarks on any computer running Google Chrome, simply by configuring Chrome to use your Gmail account. I love this because I have two computers at home, and one at work, and can access all the same bookmarks from any of the computers.
My question is, is anyone aware of a method or application that would allow me to access these synced Google bookmarks through my Android phone? I am using an HTC Desire with Froyo (Cyanogenmod 6.0). I use the Dolphin HD browser, and am aware of options of importing my bookmarks manually, however I prefer to keep my bookmarks organized into folders and not just displayed as one long list. If nothing already exists, I may just get scripty and server up a website that would display all of my Chrome bookmarks in the browser.
I cant find or/and download new google maps. I tried searching different keywords, m.google.com/maps, Even QR code.

View 6 Replies View RelatedIs anyone having trouble with Chrome to phone? or Fox to phone? It was working like a charm and then stopped sending pages. It happens on every computer I use it on and every browser. All I get is nothing or and error "error can't send page" from a Chrome browser and I actually it the devs page on Fox to phone saying 404 page not found. I've uninsulated and reinstalled both the phone app and the browsers plug ins numerous times. After doing that it may work once but generally does the same thing.

View 2 Replies View RelatedBased on some quick tests, I've noticed the following: if you kill the Google Messaging Service, Chrome to Phone (a.k.a. Send to Phone) will stop working.
This seems rather obvious, but I had been in the habit of killing the Google Talk Service (GTalk) prior to Froyo. After Froyo, it looks like the service was renamed/replaced with Google Messaging Service.
I suspect that killing the Google Messaging Service could affect other Google services too.

Using a non-rooted Droid, is it possible to tether with Chrome OS?
I know there are ways to tether your non-rooted Droid with Linux/Windows/Mac, but the software required will not run under Chrome OS (for example, one of the Linux solutions requires you have the SDK installed).

So Google has finished their announcement and it's Chrome to Phone & Google's One-Button Voice Actions. Basically my question is are these features that would just need to be turned on in the ROMs or are these things going to be released in future Froyo updates? I understand for Chrome to Phone it's going to be a plugin in Chrome and a download from the market for the phones.

One-Button Voice Actions on Gizmodo
After doing some research I've found Chrome to Phone available in the Market and in the Chrome Extensions. Works perfectly
Initially got the package signed incorrectly error for the Voice Search, did a nand backup, used titanium to uninstall the default voice search, rebooted and installed voice search through the market. Worked perfectly. I'd assume this would work for any Froyo ROMs but haven't tested.
Are they stored on my desktop, or ib the cloud? Is thee some app for this?
View 5 Replies View RelatedIs it still not possible to sync bookmarks from google chrome (pc) browser and another browser on the htc ?
I know it is possible to sync opera desktop version with mobile version but it does not open a few pages correctly on some of the sites i use and i am not too keen on the pc version of opera, its trying to do too much.
Surely i would have thought googles own browser should be able to sync with google mobile browser.
I had recently read about an amazing new Car Dock app pushed out by Google, but when I searched for it on the Android Market, it was nowhere to be found. I then attempted to download it from the web, but all links took me back to the market, where I would receive a 'file not found' message.Did Google remove this app for some reason?
