View 18 Replies View RelatedI use a third party alarm app, "Alarmed," because the default android app can't have the alarm volume ramp up with time. I would like to have a widget that launches Alarmed, but it doesn't come with a widget of its own.
Does anyone know of a 2x2 clock widget that you can set to launch any app you choose when you tap it? Or does anyone know of an alarm app/widget combo that lets you have the alarm slowly ramp up in volume over time?
I am looking for a widget (it could be a Clock and/or Weather or Calendar widget) which also display the time/day of the next scheduled alarm. I tried many of the most popular Widgets apps on the market but I couldn't find any.

View 2 Replies View RelatedI am overriding the functionalities of current android alarm clock. As of now, if we have set two alarm of ,say, 10:10 and 10:15, now if the first alarm pops up at 10:10, and we click on snooze button(snooze time: 10 mins), then it says that the snooze will not be set since there is already an alarm in between(the 10:15th one). Here i want to both the alarm(i.e, snoozed one and 10:15th one) to be set. Any ideas???

Does any know where I can get it? I am not positive if it's even called Good Morning. If someone can post it that would be great!
View 6 Replies View RelatedSometimes the clock will go weird, and the time won't change unless I touch the phone. This morning I woke up at half 8, I went to look at the time on my phone and it said 04:36, then after a couple of seconds updated to the actual time of half 8. As a result of this, my alarm set to half 6 didn't go off. I don't have any task killer apps, my phone was not turned off, or on silent.

Figure the long emulator startup time is do to the alarm clock error.

View 43 Replies View RelatedI have gotten a new Sony Xperia Z1 Compact (android 4.4.3), but i HATE the system clock widget/app with the analog hands, and minimalist design,so i installed an apk extractor on my Samsung Galaxy S3 (android 4.0.4) to try and get the system clock app from there as i absolutly love it with its big digital numbers, and exact manual input of desired countdown timer, and apk extracted fine, but when i try and install it on my xperia i get an "app not installed" error after installation actually has happened.
Is this not possible what i am trying to do? Is the clock proprietary to each company the phone is from?
When i plug my BB into the charger, it recognizes that its charging and automatically switches into "bedside mode" (changes my sound profile, displays the clock, and dims the screen way down). When I unplug my BB, it recognizes that its unplugged, switches out of bedside mode and switches back to my previous sound profile. Does android do this or is there an app that does something like it? I know it sounds lazy, but I'm just used to plugging it in, and the BB doing everything else. BTW, I really hate my BB and excited about the new Incredible.
View 2 Replies View RelatedMy question is since this is basically a Hero repackaged can anyone tell me about the ability to use this as a bedside alarm clock. Does it change to a clock interface? Can it be dimmed? and how reliable is the alarm function? Also can you turn the phone volume off so alerts and phone calls dont ring while still leaving the alarm volume active?

View 10 Replies View RelatedSo I never used the alarm before (in 2.1 or 2.2) I was using the stock alarm clock in 2.2 for the first time this morning. But when the alarm went off, there was no sound, only vibration (fortunately the sound of the vibration on the table was enough to wake me up!). The first issue is that there was no ringtone sound even though the volume was on and a ringtone was set. Then next issue is that when I went to slide the slider to dismiss the alarm, it didn't do anything. The phone kept vibrating madly and the phone was fully functional. When I went to open the alarm panel again (through the app drawer, cause it was no longer a status icon), it said the alarm was off, even though the phone kept vibrating. The only way I could get the darn thing to stop vibrating was to turn the phone completely off then back on.
View 9 Replies View RelatedI've read through the other suggested alarm threads but didn't find a solution. In my case the screen turns on but the alarm screen does not display nor does any alarm sound or vibration happen. I do not have a task manager installed and i verified via the QuickSettings app that the alarm volume is turned up. It has been many days since I had power cycled my phone.I tried setting a new alarm a few minutes from the current time and it did not activate at all same thing: no alarm screen, no sound or vibration.I power cycled my phone and setup a new alarm. This time it worked perfectly. Is Android killing the phone app at some point to free up memory? Do I need to activate the clock app before I go to bed to make sure its running? But what if it gets killed overnight--odds aren't likely as I won't be using it.

View 7 Replies View RelatedJust installed this last night. worked well. Actually woke me up 10 min earlier than alarm time. Guess it works. what sold me on it, besides free, is that it has a airplane mode. I dont know about others, but when i sleep, i sleep. i dont wake up at a drop of a hat when (and if) i hear the phone go off. (plus it saves on battery)
