Q: Is it possible to autoplay the next video using the native video player? This was easily done via the settings menu when my phone was on Android 4.1, but I am unable to locate the setting since my phone was updated yesterday to Android 4.3.

I'm using the Sprint Samsung Galaxy S4 on 4.2.2 with Nova Launcher and just recently after disabling apps, etc. my Video player app no longer opens. I press it and it freezes for 15 seconds and says unfortunately it has stopped working. On top of that every time I delete a contact, it deletes the contact but gives me a message like "android.process.acore" had stopped working and exits the contacts app.
I've tried enabling any potential function that I may have disabled to have that issue and no luck. I also cleared cache and data of the contacts list and contacts storage but no luck. I honestly do not want to format data as I have already done it 3 times prior to this issue and it is tedious. EDIT: Fixed video player by enabling picasa uploader and cloud Agent. Still no luck with the error message after deleting contact.
On iOS within any app, multiple options are available when clicking on a phone number contained within any text in any app. Eg: save to contacts, call, message etc etc.
Today somebody sent me their number in a Facebook message and the only option I had in the "complete action using" popup when clicking on the number was to call it or Skype it.
I wanted to SMS it, or at least save it to contacts.

I bought an ATT S3, running android 4.1.2. I set up the APN as instructed by straight talk and everything works except data... just can't connect to the internet. On my old sprint S3, there is an option to turn data on and off in the top menu bar (when you swipe downwards from the top of the screen), but this option does not exist on this phone. There are buttons for wifi, bluetooth, gps, etc but NO DATA! At first I was thinking it was the APN settings, but now I am thinking there is something else wrong because I don't even see the data button to toggle it on or off. I can't see incorrect APN settings preventing the toggle data option from even showing on the phone.
View 5 Replies View RelatedFrom everything I've read I should be able to encrypt my sd card on my i747 but only option I have is to encrypt phone which I've done. Should I be able to encrypt my sd card on this? I have my camera set to save my photos etc on my sd card and would really like it encrypted. I've tried a few of the photo hide programs and they all move the photos to the internal sd card if you hide them from external sd card. If there was an app that would keep them on they drive they are located on I would worry about the sd card encryption as much.

Ok so I rooted my phone and installed SuperUser and Titanium Backup (paid version). My main reason was to free up some space.I clear the cache almost daily, am using just a few apps and have deleted anything that would actually make the phone any fun (like cool widgets or useful yet non-basic apps. I have no games on it. I have googled "how to move apps to SD with Titanium Backup" dozens of times in the past month and read that it's under "batch options" a thousand times. However, for the life of me I can NOT see an option under the 4th section "Move/Integrate" for anything remotely related to MOVING APPS TO SD. The only thing it shows on that category is "Integrate updates of system apps into ROM".
I have a huge external SD plugged in where ALL my pictures, screenshots, downloads, music and videos are stored. The external SD is not even half full. Yet, my 4.44GB internal memory is filled nearly to capacity with only 274MB free.
I constantly get the STORAGE SPACE RUNNING LOW message and my available space is invariably under 380MB.
WHAT CAN I DO??? I'm about to give up on Android alltogether.
I'm running Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and the main apps I'm using which I think take up the most space are GMail, Whatsapp, Google Maps, Androind Weather and Camera360.
This is a picture of my Gmail account on my phone. It doesn't show me anything about contacts, mail, calendar etc.
I made an account on my wife's phone and everything shows up. I made an account for my wife on my phone and it shows no syncs available. So I know it's not an account problem, rather a software problem?

View 3 Replies View RelatedNot sure where the problem is but I can't get video from the Note 3 to display on the Dish Hopper. Music from the Note streams to it with the Hopper displaying album art and play controls. When I try video it shows a loading progress but fails with video cannot be played error. I have tried very short videos thinking it may have been a file size problem but this happens with all video.

Also, HTC sync manage crashes when I try to use this app to send the files. I can't use Bluetooth to send files either since apparently my mac doesn't stay connected with the phone.

I recently received an LG optimus f3 with android 4.1.2.
After activating the phone, it displayed the correct date and time for my time zone, so I didn't mess around with settings to reset the time, as I would with any other device.
However, I've noticed that the time changes to exactly an hour ahead, before changing itself back several minutes later.
I went to settings > date and time, but 24 hour time and selecting a date format are the only options listed.
I prefer to leave mobile data off when I am at home and can use the wi-fi. Is it necessary to have mobile data turned on, so the phone can receive the time from a cell tower, or is there a way I can set an internal clock?
The 'complete action using' box does not come up when playing a video, even though my video player is not set as default app for playing videos. I have tried clearing defaults.

I have found the Play Store no longer supports Adobe Flash Player so I've tried to manually install the latest android v4.0 software from the archives files but even after installation it still does not let me view. I can view all the videos on my PC without a problem.

I select the page where all the apps are...select xbmc app...sometimes it flicks back to main apps page other times the screen turns black/blank. I am using a Samsung Galaxy Note 2 SPH-L900 that currently has software 4.1.2. I've recently been trying to finally update to 4.3 and it seems my phone is stuck on an old update. It's 28.5MB and it'll show there's an update, I'll download it, it'll say it was successful. I'll then tell it to restart & install, what happens next is it looks like it just does a simply restart. It shuts off, shows the Samsung startup screen, and then I'm back to my homepage. Because of this, I can't update the phone any further. I tried going a Hard Reset (holding vol up, home, then power) and delete data/formating drive and that didn't fix it. I also tried going to the All Applications -> Google Services Framework -> Clear Cache -> Stop Service and what this does it brings up the same page for the 28.5MB download and it does the same thing it's always done.
