Android :: Launch Market Place With Id Of An Application That Doesn't Exist In The Android Market Place
Mar 25, 2010I am creating an application that checks the installation of a package and then launches the market-place with its id.
When I try to launch market place with id of an application say com.mybrowser.android by throwing an intent android.intent.action.VIEW with url: market://details?id=com.mybrowser.android, the market place application does launches but crashes after launch.
Note: the application com.mybrowser.android doesn't exists in the market-place.
MyApplication is my application.

However, when I try to launch the market place for a package that exists in the market place say com.opera.mini.android, everything works. Log for this case:

Aug 10, 2010I recently got 10.1 Flash on my Droid, I tried playing some Flash Games, but the ones that use the mouse I have to use the touchscreen, and when I move it around, it moves around the entire screen as well.Is there an app for the Droid or a built-in feature that will hold the browsers screen in place, so that it won't move around?

Android :: How To Track Games Taking Place / Lock Screen
Aug 23, 2010Now the new season has properly started I really want a good app that tracks scores properly so I thought we could all discuss the ones on offer. I use 'Soccer Score Centre lite' at the moment but I'm not happy with it - as I can't figure out how to track games taking place (apart my 'my club') and it doesn't lock the screen so my screensaver comes on and then it doesn't refresh properly. I know fotmob is a popular app as well - could I seek people's views on that? I'm after an app that shows you all the live games (and when clicking on them you can find out the scorers, the yellow / red cards and so on) and for it to show you the upcoming fixtures as well.I'm a championship support - not EPL - so it needs to cover all leagues. Surely that is not too much to ask? I know there have been a few threads on this already - but not since this season has started and frankly the ones on offer appear crap

AbsoluteLayout helped, but it is deprecated (It is also better to avoid AbsoluteLayout as it is not very flexible for orientation changes)

Jun 1, 2010So, I've heard too many mixed things in like 50 different threads, and can't really make sense of all of them, so I thought I'd just make a new thread.
What is the best place to buy Evo off contract? Certain places like Wirefly don't sell off contract, others like Amazon apparently don't either. Places like Best buy and radio shack seem to have a higher off contract price ($549). Sprint's online store seems to be the most obvious choice, but then we get stuck with Tax (which for california is nearly 50$ dollars)
So, has anyone done their research and figured out what place will be best, and why?

Jun 9, 2010I should be able to get an Evo tomorrow. Is Wirefly still the best place? Their price has gone up from the launch price of $170 to $190, but it appears you can still get $50 Bing cash back. And I think there's a coupon code for a free bluetooth headset.
I actually tried to order the Evo on the launch date from Wirefly, but was denied because my upgrade date wasn't ready. I think I'll give them a call and see if they can honor the launch price of $170 for me.

Feb 2, 2012I've got to the stage where I'm testing my app on my own device. I've placed the apk file on my sd card and installed it but it seems to then place a file/icon for every class I have in my app? So I then have 13 icons which each open the various different pages?
