HTC Wildfire :: Won't Send Texts

Basically my Wildifre won't send texts, yet it will receive them fine! It says "unable to send message after several attempts" Even though I have full reception, can make & receive calls fine, and can receive texts, just can't always send texts (although they sometimes do send!) My text settings are all correct, so it's not that. Anyone have similar problem??? It's really annoying me big time that a "smartphone" can't even send a simple bloody text!

Having a problem with email (not GMail). I can receive email no problem but cannot send any. I started by inputting all my talktalk client info, mail.talktalk.net and smtp.talktalk.net etc., but will not send messages. Looked on forum for advice but cant seem to find exactly whats wrong. Tried K9 too but also has the same problem as the standard mail programme.

I'm trying to mass send texts (about 100 at a time) but as soon as I press send - every single one of them fails to send. It just fails and all of the messages just sit there in the 'undelivered messages' section. When I press 'retry sending all' it all just fails immediately, without even trying. I don't care if takes one hour, two hours, 12 hours, a whole day to send em all, just send them texts!

I have a wildfire and its telling me i am low on storage and i need to delete files. I have deleted all my messages, i am no longer able to receive or send messages either.

I can't seem to be able to send texts through the default messaging app. Calls and data works. Restarting my phone seems to temporarily fix my issue. I have full network bars and have tried switching carriers. I'm also on Android 4.3 on Samsung Galaxy S3.
The weird thing is that I can send texts through Google Hangouts app, but not the android messaging app.

unable to send or receive picture messages on his Wildfire. apparently it tries to send and then he just gets the message unable to send message... retrying.. generic network failure.. I don't have the phone on me so am limited to what I can check

I installed the Quick Settings App a while back because my brother said it was a good app. I didn't really use it so I uninstalled it. But now I can't send picture texts (MMS). He can't either. I found a thread which talks about a fix but the fix doesn't work. I started this thread because the title of that thread isn't very clear and it keeps getting buried. how to fix this without doing a hard reset? I would really like to avoid a hard reset.

I?ve had my HTC desire for about 3 weeks until now not had any problems, but now i can?t seem to make or receive calls or text. When I try to ring someone it just beeps and ends the call. When someone rings me it says unavailable. Nor can i send or receive texts. I?ve spoken to my network operator and everything is fine on their end and also got a new sim card from them just in case it was a sim card fault. Anyone know what the problem could be?

How can I send a text to groups with over 20 contacts in them? I have two work groups that range from 20 to 25 members and often need to get messages to them. I switched from a Blackberry and like the new phone a great deal but I really need to have the ability to send large group texts.

me and many of my mates have unlimited texts on our contracts and we like playing jokes on each other where we send loads of texts at the same time to 1 person. so for instance if they dont come out for drinks then they get sent loads of texts. This is not so easy on the Hero so was wondering if an application exists that can send 1 or 2 contacts loads of messages at once?

GMail is almost unusable when composing a message - the Send and discard and Save buttons take up more room than you get space to type, resulting in just 3 or so lines of visible text. To make it worse, the typing font is massive.
Does anyone know how to...
1) Remove the stupid Send/Discard/Save buttons above the keyboard. Clicking the menu soft-key brings up those options anyway, meaning they literally are nothing but a waste of typing space
2) Change the font size, so we can see more text as we type. When reading a message, the font is much smaller and still very readable...
3) Change the keyboard to something shorter, gaining more room to see messages we composes
I got this phone to GMail with so this is pretty annoying.

so i just did factory reset, and texts wont send. SMS. get the error: SMS Error General Problems, Cause Code: 34, Error Class:2 come on, i thought factory reset was supposed to make EVERYTHING ALL BETTER you know how when sending a text, it swtiches to 1x? yeah well mines not doing that; it's staying on 3G.

I have Verizon and I just got the new DX.I can make and receive calls, make and receive emails, access internet/market and everything except for send/receive text messages.I have unlimited texting on my plan so it's not that, all texts refuse to be sent and I'm not getting any incoming messages either.anyone else get this?What's a fix?

For whatever reason, some of my contacts don't notify me when they send texts. The pop-up box shows up, but no notification at the status bar and no sound. It only happens for a few of my contacts and others work.

I just picked up the Nexus 5 a week ago and other than battery life and Hangouts I think the phone is awesome! Anyways I'm having a weird intermittent problem when I send texts through Hangouts and I'm not sure whats causing the issue. I've had Hangouts send roughly a dozen texts through thinking they were picture texts. I've had my friends answer me back saying "I didn't receive the picture", and I never tried to send a pic?I'm also not really keen on Hangouts, whats a simple to use, bug free messaging app?

OK so i just got this phone a few days ago and now I cant send texts or make phone calls but I can do everything else like use the internet receive texts etc. I had another issue earlier today where my phone shut off randomly and wouldnt turn back on when i knew it ha almost full battery. I took out the battery the sim and then out them back in no luck eventually i took out the s pen and it worked. A few hour later i got home and tried to send and text and no luck. Ive tried everything i cleared the Google services framework cache and text message app cache Ive tried another texting app and even restored it to factory settings. still same issue. What i can do next. I'm on Verizon and bought the phone off amazon wireless.

Even after numerous factory resets, through both the Volume Down+Send+End and Settings>Privacy>Factory Reset methods, my Eris has been unable to send or receive texts, and will not allow me to send or receive calls. When I try to text, I get an SMS error with Cause Code: 34 and Error Class: 3. When I try to call, I get an automated error saying that my phone can't be authenticated at this time, and am advised to call #8899. Even after doing so, I get the same authentication error. Wi-Fi seems to work correctly, and my Google and Facebook accounts all sync pretty much perfectly. Is anyone else having any kind of problem like this? And, either way, does anyone know of any possible alternatives that may fix the problem besides a total replacement of the phone?

Ive had my phone for 10 weeks, no probs at all, brilliant little thing until now. Am unable to call anyone, or send texts, but i do have internet access? Have turned phone off, removed sim etc but nothing! The battery is charged and i have a good signal

I got a Milestone at about Christmas time and have loved it, but now I have one slight issue with it. I can't send a text message, and whenever I attempt to send a message, it simply comes back saying "Message Not Sent". It is highly frustrating.I have been into the Phone Information, under Testing, and it says that my GSM Disconnects is inactive, and the fail is because No Error. This is frustrating and I have no idea how to fix the Problem.This is my last resort before I call my service provider and see what I can do, and I would much rather solve this myself.Any help would be highly appreciated,

X10a 2.1 I can't receive txts/mms but I can send them. It was working fine yesterday, but then out of nowhere it stopped working, I've been asking friends from different carriers, emails, etc to send me TXTs and MMS but I still can't receive them, I contacted my Network and they did OTA update, I even did it manually deleting the APN searching for the network etc. but same issue, I can send txts/mms but I can NOT receive them. any suggestions?

Got a problem with my new Samsung galaxy S2 that's stumping.Several times a day, for several minutes at a time, I'm unable or send or revive text messages. During this ~5 min window I am also unable to make or receive calls. Outgoing texts will time out and outgoing call just stay at "dialing" and then time out. The issue resolves itself after a few minutes.
NOTES:
• This started when I switched to an iPhone on Sprint from my Samsung Epic 4g on Sprint. Thinking it was the iPhone issue, I switched to a Galaxy SII... which does the exact same thing.
• I have signal bars the whole time
• my girlfriend, who shares the cell plan and my house never has this issue (she has an Evolution 4g)
• tried updating the PRL, profile and even had Sprint reset my MSID#.
• happened on stock EK02 ROM, and rooted EL29 roms.

I'm using Google voice exclusively for text messaging. Right now the only way to send/receive texts is to use the google voice app, but I would like to do that through the native message app.
