I have had my Sony Ericsson Experia X10 for 4 months now and are happy with it although I seem to be continuously charging the battery? I haven't really looked at that many Android apps but I can't find a decent office type program similar to Microsoft Office or Open office to use excel, or similar office documents whilst I'm away from my laptop? Also are there any Krazy kiwis living out there using the great Android networks living in the UK, or even better in Bristol? I would love to hear from you soon

When I attempt to go to the out of office on the phone it says the following: "Unable to get your Out of Office settings from the Exchange server right now. Please try again later." I've never seen it work & was wondering if anyone has the same issue or knows how to fix it.

View 4 Replies View RelatedWhen I DL a pdf file as an attachment to an email, Quickoffice opens it and lets me read it. When I use the OIFileManager I can see the pdf file in the downloads folder on my SD card and it is displayed with a Quickoffice icon. Clicking on the file launches the Quickoffice pdf viewer. When I look on the home menu I cannot find a Quickoffice icon. Where is quickoffice- is it integrated into android OS? I need to search text and/or pdf files for specific text- example: ADA procedure codes for dentistry. I have a list in both pdf and text format but can't find a way to search it for "crown".Is there an app (maybe a part of Quickoffice?) that will search for and highlight text in a text or pdf file?

View 10 Replies View RelatedToday you can get "Documents to go" for $5.55 (Normally $29.95) but I am not really sure what I would gain over the included Quickoffice ap. I could be wrong but I believe quick office is read only while documents to go allows editing.Anyone else know the difference?
Ignoring price, what one is better functionality wise? Quickoffice came preinstalled on my Dinc, don't know if thats a gimped version or not.

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have been given a Nexus7 and I'm not sure what it can actaully do so I am trying out a few simple things - currently OfficeSuitePro - and I don't really know what the Nexus7 is capable of so not sure how to do some things.
My current question is - can I save spreadsheets which I create on the tablet using Office Suite Pro, and if so, how?
The Support says i can save to Local Storage, but I don;t seem to have this. What is it and how do I get it? I have a My Documents Folder and an Internal Storage folder. When I go to Save in either of these folders it displays the message "There are no supported files in this folder" and the Save icon is greyed out.
I should be saving to an SD card, but my device doesn't have one, nor does it have a slot for one.
I am wanting to free up some space on my Android 2.3 device and one of the biggest offenders is an app called ThinkFree Office. I have never used it and it takes up nearly 10MB of space. Is there a way to uninstall this app which came with my phone?
View 6 Replies View Relatedi've had this phone since it was released and have never gotten handcent to work properly with MMS. I would get the following errors: unknown error, generic network error, unable to send. Stock messenger works fine with MMS, but doesn't work properly if I have handcent installed. Once I uninstall it, it's fine. As a last resort, I "factory restored" my phone. Handcent still doesn't work. Stock messenger occasionally needs to be force closed with "the process com.android.mms has stopped unexpectedly".................
View 11 Replies View RelatedI've had my DINC since April. Really no problems at all. Got the 2.2 update on Wed or Thurs of last week - no troubles, until now. I synced my DINC to my computer after the update.Today i tried to sync w/my computer and nothing happened. The little "tree" notification that allows you to choose what you want to do (charge, sync, mount SD card) didn't come up. I removed and reinstalled HTC sync (which has worked before) and still nothing.
Any ideas what to try next? I'm considering a factory reset but would like to try other options 1st.
