May 6, 2010Is there a way to stop downloads in progress, or only wait until complete and then delete from the SD?

HTC EVO 4G :: How To Stop Downloads On Phone
Jul 20, 2010Just got the EVO, love it. But one thing is bothering me. I tried downloading the Mario Bros. Live wallpaper from the store, and its been showing two download arrows on my screen in the upper left side for 2 hours now. They won't go away, the download is not working. I tried restarting the phone and they're still there. Where do I go to stop the download?

Oct 19, 2010Do a lot of downloading of mixes etc on my phone and find that a lot of the time if I leave it the download fails. If I sit there and touch the screen now and again to stop it switching off then it works every time. Its over wifi btw.
Is anyone else having this issue and also does anyone else know how to sort this?
General :: Google Play Downloads Stop At 100% And Won't Install
Feb 17, 2014I have a ZTE V889S (aka ZTE Blade C, ZTE V807) with android 4.1.2. When I download any application/game off the Play Store, it will download up to 100%, yet not install. If I exit google play, wipe the process, and start it again, then it will install the application that it already downloaded. when applications update, I have to restart google play multiple times to update everything, which becomes a nuisance.
I had the problem even on the original android 4.1.2 rom (with the default/not updated play store app), and I currently have Lewa OS (A chinese custom rom), which still has the problem. There is enough space in every possible install location (I've tried setting it to the SD card and the internal storage). The alternative chinese app market has no problem installing applications right after downloading them.

Jul 23, 2010I have one app (Astro File Manager) that is stuck in my downloads in the Market. I uninstalled the app, and it stays there. If I click on it, it takes me to the page for AFM, and if I click on cancel download, it force closes my market. I had about 6 apps doing the same thing, but when I clicked on them and canceled the download, and re updated, they all worked fine. Astro is the only one giving my problems. Any ideas on how to stop it and just redownload?

May 8, 2010Anyone lately get the Google talk authentication error notification repeatedly and find that they can no longer download apps from the Android market? Mine is going on the third day now and endless Google searches reveal that this problem has affected various Android devices worldwide, including the Incredible that just came out. I've tried all kind of suggestions but none work and there doesn't seem to be any official response from Google on the matter. I wonder if it is a hardware problem since these forums are not buzzing on these issues at all. In my case the phone worked perfectly for 2 days after activating and knowing how high the demand has been surely more people would be experiencing the same issues were it a device or cloud software problem. If anyone else has the same problems please post here.

May 26, 2010When I get a call, email, text message..etc.. my phone will make a noise once.. and then the LED will flash green. HOWEVER.. if I don't notice it.. it seems after a few minutes the LED stop blinking green. I often leave my phone on my night stand.. step out of the room for awhile.. come back.. look at the phone and the LED is not blinking.. but when I wake up the phone I show a missed call, new email, new text, etc. Is this how it is supposed to work? should the green LED keep flashing until I check the phone?

However, when I receive a notification while I'm doing something else, or heck even if I receive it while just looking at my phone, I want to be able to hit a button and make the noise stop! The next day when i unplug my headset, the music starts playing on the speaker! I had the exact issue on my blackberry, and never investigated it.
