KitKat 4.4 :: Nexus 5 - How To Select Whole Paragraph Then Copy And Paste It With SwiftKey
Jan 25, 2014I recently switched from iPhone to nexus 5.On the iPhone long pressing gave the options to copy and paste single word or whole paragraphs. In SwiftKey on the nexus,long pressing brings up a blue pointer that gives me just the option to delete the word before it. I can't see any way to select a line of paragraph, then copy and paste it.

May 12, 2010Is it possible to Copy/Paste within the Gmail App? I could not figure out how to do so on my previous BBs but figured that the Android OS would be better integrated. Am I missing something? I hate having to memorize address for inputting into GMaps.
Ever since my first cell phone, my ability to memorize more than 3 consecutive numbers has virtually disappeared.

Oct 29, 2010I can see how to copy something (long press on screen, then tap "paper" that comes up), but am lost from there. It tells me the selection has been copied to the clipboard, but where is that? Or how do I go to some other screen and paste? Want to do this in mail, gmail, SMS and browser sometimes.

Apr 9, 2014how to open .docx file within android app programmatically ? if i try to open a .docx file in my app, it should not open using any external apps like kingsoft office, QuickOffice etc., i have already make use of some library files like aspose.words for android, OliveDocLibrary, Apache POI.
1. Aspose.word library is too heavy and heap space exception occurs when i tried to run the app.
2. using OliveDocLibrary, it displays something like watermark on the document file. that seems to be uncomfortable for viewing the document file.
3. Apache POI library is been used, i have placed all the required libraries in my project's libs folder but still POIFSFileSystem exception occuring.
So, are there any other libraries for doing this job ?

I would also like to insert data on this table from word or excel document. is it possible? if so please how can I do it? some code snippets would be of great help. I have four different activities which I would like them to interact with this single table. the first is the main activity and its purpose is just to launch the other three activities according to user choice. so it has no interaction with the DB. but the other three activities will read from the table whenever called. Can you please tell me how to call the dbhelper on these activities? I am unable to do this and I am currently creating one db per each activity which is not the optimal way.

Jun 23, 2010so yesterday I've noticed that the GMAIL app (not the HTC EVO native app) does not let you copy text from the body of the email. Was trying to copy a tracking number and paste into Dolphin but no go. Tried in the HTC Mail and it worked.
I prefer the GMAIL app (PUSH) over the HTC Mail but will never go back to it if this does not have a fix.
