View 1 Replies View RelatedI've installed ROM Manager and I'm trying to use it to backup my current ROM and Flash to another (already download Damage Control). I'm currently running Fresh and want to try Damage Control. Anyway everytime I select the "backup current rom" option it prompts me for the file name and just boot to recovery mode and does nothing. Is there something I need to do to allow ROM Manager to work? I'm I fully rooted if i'm running Fresh? Can someone post instructions on how to flash between ROMs using Rom Manager?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI rooted my phone (droid x), and then installed bootstrap + Rom Manager. I downloaded REVOlution, and then I got to recovery, I clicked reboot, and it always FREEZES at the M sign. Then I looked up other forum posts on this site, and so I ended up deleting cache, going to factory reset etc... and I still can't get back to my screen.
View 3 Replies View RelatedSo PSX4Droid finally got released from the clutches of Google Market about an hour ago. Only problem now is I can't seem to get any roms to work. I set up a PSXROMS folder on my SD card, and my first d/l was Metal Gear Solid disc 1 and 2. I got them from here PSX ISO Download Section. So I downloaded the .rar, unzipped to get the .bin (says it's compatible), open the emulator, the emulator sees the files in the folder, I click it, it refreshes the rom screen. The emulator doesn't start. Am I doing something wrong? Wrong file type?

View 2 Replies View RelatedI'm running RM v2.0.2.5 and when I try to download a new ROM, it gets most of the way through, then stops. Is there anyway to resume the downloading?? I've tried different ROMs with the same issue. Currently, I've downloaded SS 4.7 with the Watermark'd theme, and the ROM downloaded, but Watermark'd is stuck at 2%. Before that, CM6 stable got all the way to 95% then just sat there...

I have recently accidentally deleted the standard ICS Download Manager on my wife's rooted Huawei G300 (I wasn't wearing my glasses...). This means that the Play Store no longer works. I have the identical phone, so I used Titanium to backup the D.Man., copied the files across to the same folder in my wife's phone. Unfortunately, Titanium doesn't "see" the backup. how I could reinstall before my wife finds out...?

View 4 Replies View RelatedI have a rooted Moment and just downloaded the lite version of the Genesis emulator because I want to test it out before i decide if i should buy it, or the SNES/NES ones. My questions are what are the best sites to download roms for these emulators and then how do you run them? I'm not very tech savvy when it comes to phones and OS's so any help would be great.

View 5 Replies View RelatedI downloaded the Android SDK and AVD manager and began downloading the packages but every time I try the download stalls about 20% of the way through it. Before it stalls, it downloads very slowly (about 30kb/ sec). Some more details: I'm running on Windows XP. I've tried turning SSL on and off from within the manager. I've also tried running it within Eclipse and also from the command line. Is there a debug mode or something to figure out what its doing? I would also be willing to try debugging it myself if the source to the AVD manager is available. I found the following discussion on the slow downloads, but haven't found anything on the stalling issue. http://groups.google.com/group/android-developers/browse_thread/threa.
