Jun 27, 2010trying to put stock mail.apk back on phone since gmail won't download attachments, trid this in recovery with system mounted and with phone just in disk drive mode with debugging on. can't get it either way. its in the root of my c drive.

Jul 22, 2010So I tried googling and poking through a ton of different forums (this one, nexusone forums, etc.) regarding formatting video to be used on the DInc. The general consensus was to use Handbrake with the iPhone settings to convert video. But that was taking forever. What is weird is that I bought the Sandisk 32GB card, and I put a number of copies of the new season of Dr Who on it (all avi's, unsure what codecs were used for it though). They're all smaller than the native resolution of the phone (something like 366xsomething). But neither Meridian nor DoubleTwist can play them. I wasn't sure if it was card related, so I moved the files off the card onto the phone (which took forever, btw) and it still would freeze up opening the video. So I'm guessing I'm still going to have to convert the files, which is fine - but does anyone know of software better than Meridian to do so?
It's funny, I watched the entirety of Clerks on my LG Voyager (after converting it to 3gp or whatever that weird format was), and doing that seemed simpler than watching videos on my DInc. As an aside, we were watching the iPhone4 vs EVO video on my fiance's MotoDroid, standing outside a VzW store talking it up with an old co-worker of mine from when I used to work there, and the video froze. She shut it off, then turned it back on, and it started power cycling (M loop, whatever you want to call it). I spent 3 hours digging through forums looking for a way to recover her phone without factory reset, couldn't get anything to work, so we factory reset and it continued to power cycle. Totally bricked. Anyone know if this is normal?
We already ordered a replacement phone for her, as it was stock to begin with. Just find it rather weird, especially since it had happened shortly after we installed the latest version of LauncherPro on her phone. I guess the inner-troubleshooter in me is determined to figure out the cause-- especially if LauncherPro and/or YouTube interacted funny, I thought it'd be a really useful thing to give to the developers.
HTC Incredible :: Will Phone Play Digital Copies Of Movies?
Apr 23, 2010I searched and didn't find any answers. But from the video from wirefly, it looks like they are playing the digital copy from disney. I have a droid now and can't get them to play. i ordered the incredible today and am anxiously awaiting it.

HTC Incredible :: Navigation Is Not Working After Rooting And Putting Skyraider 3.0 Rom
Oct 6, 2010i recently installed a rom using rom manager. I installed skyraider 3.0 rc3 with sense and everything is fine except when i use the navigation, it stays on the searching for gps or loading screen forever and doesnt work. Do u guys know what i can do to fix this without having to change the rom or unrooting? also, if i have the free version of rom manager, does it only allow me to download one rom cause when i try to download another it says download error?? also, is it easy to switch between roms or do u have to restore the phone/reboot it and then download a new rom??

May 12, 2010I got my HTC incredible 2 days ago. When I first got it it had no sd card, so i went back to the store and the guy gave me one. But even after putting the sd card in the device the device still doesnt recognize it. When I go to the settings and click on sd card and phone storage under sd card it says, total space: unavailable, available space: unavailable. this is a major problem cause now i cant download files or use several applications or features. ive tried taking it out and putting it back in, restarting the phone, and formatting the sd card to no avail. i'm no tech expert, but pretty tech savvy. This problem, though, has me pulling my hair out. it seems like a lot of ppl have been having the same problem, but no one has any answer that seems to be working. im going to the store tomorrow to see if its a problem with the sd card, but wanted to check if it was a problem with the phone or if anyone else has had the same problem.

Nov 16, 2010I'm not sure what's going on with my Evo, but all of a sudden it's been deciding to put itself in silent mode for no apparent reason and I'm missing tons of calls because of it. I will turn the sound back on and then all of a sudden it's off after a couple of hours for no apparent reason. I don't want to have to return the phone, but I'm not sure what other options I have at this point. Has anyone heard of this issue?

HTC EVO 4G :: Putting Phone On Vibrate During Events
Sep 17, 2010I have a calender for my school schedule. I usually like my phone to ring, but during class I can't have that happen. I miss a lot of calls because I always have my phone in vib or silent because of school. Is there a way that I can the phone in vibrate when im in class or other meeting type events? I'm using the calender that came with my phone synced to my google calender.I'm not sure if the calendar software being used on my phone is an android default, htc, or google calender software. The phone is evo4g on 2.1.

Oct 19, 2010I want to activate my hero again but it's rooted so I can't take it into the store to have it activated.I want to put my phone back to the original factory settings but every time I try to sync it with HTC Sync it just keeps resetting itself. I tried downloading a copy of HTC Sync and I have even installed it from my phones SD card (I backed it up before I rooted). Every time I plug the phone into my computer then hit the HTC Sync under notifications the phone keeps rebooting and HTC Sync doesn't even recognize it (my computer does though) I am using a netbook running Windows XP.

Jun 28, 2010I would like to move my Family Guy episodes and perhaps Caddyshack or any other great movie to my DInc but alas iTunes has shut me down with AAC protection. Some of the other posts I saw suggested using Doubletwist which I downloaded on my Mac and seems like it would work, yet the files are still protected so that doesn't help. Another said to use FairGame to take the DRM protection off of the file so I can transfer them, but that didn't work either. Is there ANY easy answer that won't cost me anything or be difficult to do? Anybody out there already do this on their DInc?

Also if that is possible, what would I use to watch it on the device? Even if there is a way I can pay for the movie and watch it from my phone.
