HTC Incredible :: Pictures For Contacts Not Updating
Jul 16, 2010I looked through the forums but didn't see any answer to this issue; I have a DINC and when I logged in to Facebook the first time and linked the photos they all showed up; but now when people update their picture, it doesn't update on my Incredible. I tried logging out and back in then 'resyncing' it again to no avail. Any resolution to this problem? I see that some Evo and Hero users are having the same problem.

Sep 12, 2010When I go to individual contacts and try to link them, nothing ever shows up. My brother got a Droid X last night and when he installed the FB app it automatically synced the pictures for him. I re-installed my app and didn't get that option. How do I do this?

Jun 8, 2010Apologies if this has been covered in some other thread - but I couldn't find one.Just got my HTC Droid Incredible. I have my Apple Address Book set to sync with Google. I have my Droid also syncing with Google.
Issue 1) Pictures I set on my Apple contacts did not sync to Google and therefore not to my Droid either.
Issue 2) I manually loaded pictures onto my Droid then edited the contacts to use those pictures. After a bit of time (maybe one hour), the contact pictures reverted back to what Facebook has for those contacts. Is there some way to turn that syncing with Facebook off?
Issue 3) even if I wanted to use the Facebook pictures, they appear very fuzzy and cropped badly on the Droid. To the point where they are not recognizable.

HTC Incredible :: Sort Pictures So That Newer Pictures Are At Beginning Of List?
Aug 8, 2010I was wondering if anyone knows how to sort pictures so that the newer pictures are at the beginning of the list? The default is that new pictures are all the way at the bottom, and since I have over a hundred pictures its annoying to scroll all the way to the bottom. I don't see any option to sort the pictures in any other way.

Jul 19, 2010If you removed your acct for some reason you may find your phone unable to sync w/ facebook photos and available only for updates.
If this happens to you:
Go to Contacts
Click Menu
Click Add Friends
Click Facebook (not add account)
Check mark the friends you would like to add... IMPORTANT name spelling must be the same to go over without a hitch.
If the name is different and you've ALREADY added the facebook photo... Click on the name in the contact list. Click link... a suggestion should pop up. Select it.

Mar 16, 2010So I'm sitting here trying to add pictures to all of my contacts. Is there an easier way to do this? Such as Facebook? I've never understood how Facebook syncs with my contacts, and I'm not even sure if our phone is capable of this.
Also, for the contacts I do have pictures of, how do I make them larger? When that person calls, their picture is tiny and doesn't fill the designated area for the picture. I'm currently using BH_MAN's updated BH2 stock rom.

Now I've managed to export a vCard file from my phone and have imported the contacts into Gmail. The only problem is that contact photos have not been ported over..So how can I export contacts from my phone WITH the pictures as well ?
Or, alternatively, where on my phone filesystem does Android store contact pictures ? I can then bring them to my PC, and manually add them to Gmail contacts quickly ..

Jun 17, 2010I'm delving into customizing my EVO and thoroughly enjoying it. I have so many options I just don't know what to do with myself! I do, however, need some help. I made the mistake of linking my Facebook to my contacts when I first got my EVO, so my address book was a complete melting pot of mess (Facebook friends, imported contacts from my Blackberry, and others) and it absolutely drove me up the wall. I figured out how to unsync my Facebook, and I did.I now have two problems. I imported all of my contacts from my Blackberry to my EVO and two things happened. Most of the numbers didn't come with them, and all of the pictures from my old berry did. Elsewise, this phone is still finding Facebook contacts and linking them with imported contacts. I'm going bananas.I need to find a way to mass delete the low res contact pictures from my contacts, find a way to I guess "link" or find the numbers for all of these contacts, and a way to make this beautiful phone stop putting Facebook icons and low res pics on the people in my address book.

Aug 29, 2010I want my contacts to have the facebook profile pictures. Most of them update, but i noticed some dont, which wouldve been bearable if a couple werent in my favourites (people) widget.
I've used SyncMyPics and it seemed to work fine, but all the pictures are now using the gmail picture which is blurry (fixed if i deleted the pic in gmail so itll used facebooks higher quality). but heres the problem, when i go to the contact to pic a new picture, the options are google and facebook, but the google is the updated picture, and facebook is still the old one. I want to use facebook too because its much better quality.

Mar 1, 2012I finally got the RAZR MAXX yesterday after that long Verizon backorder drought, and I thoroughly enjoy it coming from the Droid 4 which I gave back after two weeks solely because of the battery life. With my Droid 4, though, when I sync'd my Facebook contacts into my phone, all of my friend's profile pictures were automatically updated as well. Now, with the RAZR MAXX, I get the contact name and information from Facebook but no pictures. All those grey boxes really become an eyesore (I'm anal about that sort of thing) and it's just TOO many people to manually add pictures for.
I've tried:
Logging out of Facebook and logging back in Unsyncing the Facebook account and deleting the Facebook app, then resyncing Letting the friends list populate with pictures in the app then checking in the phonebook SyncMyPix app
Nothing is working for me.

I tried playing an MkV video file.. But its very choppy and slo-mo kind of. tried using Xandplayer and something else. no help. is there a best above all media player for x10? i had a VLC player for my old HTC dream that worked fine. I would love to watch my sitcom episodes on my phone.
