Heres a real easy way to jot down your notes while on the go. Create a new note and set yourself a reminder or search through your current notes.
New notes can be added at the top of the main screen or use your phones menu to Add a new note, Search previous notes, add a labels and establish your settings.
In Settings you can change things like the color of the notepad, font, font size, set up reminders, export and import notes to/from your SD card and more.
AK Notepad makes it easy to jot down quick thoughts, write a blog post, set-up grocery list and anything else you need to to remember.
Do you have this app? Prefer using another Android app for note taking? Let other know by leaving a comment below.

My phone is the one which is up to date but I really prefer using the bigger notepad screen but can't get the notepad current?
I was curious to know if anyone is aware of any program that allows you to make calls and adds the dashes in the number as you type them. For instance, right now with the Inc when placing a call, the number displays like this:
5555555555
Anyone know if there's a way to make it:
555-555-5555
A little easier on the eyes. I doubt that there is something like this but thought I'd ask.
I would like to forward all calls to my number on to the new predefined number automatically. Is it possible to forward incoming call? Probably it is possible for Froyo at least. I found application called Easy Call Forwarding. But many people reckon it dosen't work actually. We can notice forwarded call by onCallForwardingIndicatorChanged() from PhoneStateListener but I have no idea how to set forwarding mode.
View 1 Replies View RelatedSo, I've just started create my first Android ROM, for my Galaxy Note. I'm now enjoying my break from school, and what could be better then spending it developing? Well, let's start!
I've downloaded two ROMs that a friend of mine has created. He's right now on vacation, so I can't ask him.
My first problem is probably a simple one. But how do I change the "About Phone" section? I understand that I can't change the model number, or the Baseband version. But how do I change the Build number so that it shows my ROM name?
Remember do tell me idiot simple, due to the fact that this in my first ROM.
I have been using Samsung Galaxy Note 1 for some time now, but couple of weeks ago my connections starts dropping and i would just take the SIM out and put it back and it would start working again.
What is is that when i enter *#06# it doesn't show any IMEI number. I have tried to restore my phone and install new software didn't work.
Some of the mobile shops said they need to buy a new IMEI number, some said they need to open it and see and some said "Basement" has gone bad. Not sure what that is though. May be he meant Baseband...
I wanna know where the ak notepad files are stored? i did a full restore of both phone and sdccard prior to updating to 2.2 Rom but now i cant find where they are. there was some pretty important stuff in the notepad and it'd be awesome if i could get it back

Coming from a "dumb" flip phone, its way too easy for me to accidentally dial a number while messing around with my contact list and call history.
I will be swiping down the list, and it will dial a number if my finger rests too long on a contact.
Is there a way to require that I hit the "call" button before dialing anybody's number?
Does anyone know a way to call a phone number that is in a calendar entry on the Incredible? This is a feature I used 10 times a day on my blackberry and I can't believe there wouldn't be some way to do it on the incredible. I am a sales rep and when I set up an appointment I put the name of the office and then I type the phone number right next to the name. When I opened the entry on my bb I could then click on the number to initiate a call. The incredible doesn't seem to recognize the phone number as anything different than text..

View 3 Replies View RelatedI've experienced two problems with Google Voice that are causing me to get charged minutes I wouldn't usually get charged. If I can't solve them, I'll have to go back to using my Verizon number. First, let me say that I'm using a new Google Voice number that isn't Verizon cell phone number or any other preexisting number. Second, my girlfriend is on my family plan, but she doesn't have GV yet. We're using the 700-minute plan, so we don't have a friends circle.
Problem 1: When I call my girlfriend's Verizon wireless phone using the GV on my Verizon phone, I get charged, and when she calls my GV number on my Verizon Wireless phone from her Verizon wireless phone, she gets charged. We don't cash in on our free in-network calling. I know, this should have been obvious, but it just never occurred to me until after I looked at the bill. I'd be able to work with that, though, and just select "Call without using Google Voice" or whatever when calling her if it weren't for the second problem. When people call my Google Voice number, I get charged when I don't answer. Usually, it's just a one-minute charge, but sometimes it's two or three minutes (don't know why). With anything less than an unlimited plan, minutes count. Not good.
I'm selling my house, and my old phone number (which is still active), is on the advertisment signs and MLS. So, I'm going to keep paying my bill month to month for that account until I sell the house.
However, I'd rather not carry around 2 different phones. I did not port my number to my new service as my old number was not "local" to where I live now.
So, I have service with T-mobile and now Verizon with two different numbers. Can I set-up something where anyone who calls my T-mobile number, will ring through to my my Verizon phone/number?
What I want to do is make a phone number click-able I guess you can say.
On my app there is two phone numbers on two different tabs. I want the user to be able to press the phone number (either or) and it will call the number from their phone.
I want to create a app that lets me set what # to set myne as and message to send, same with calling. how hard this would be, any code or references to look?

1. Registered a broadcast receiver for this intent "android.intent.action.NEW_OUTGOING_CALL"
2. So using "intent.getStringExtra", i got the user dialed number.
3. After that i need to do some database operation and after that i have to change the user dialed number.
4. Using setResultData(), i will update the dialed number.
here i want to do the database operation in worker thread instead of doing it in OnReceive() of BroadcastReceiver. So from the worker thread how can i use the setResultData()?
I use google voice to send all my calls on my cliq xt but I was wondering if there is a way to have people call my google voice number and not have it count towards my minutes. Also is there a way to have the sms be integrated with the built in android sms app or have the voice app constantly be open?

View 1 Replies View RelatedMy work number is a contact, if I choose that contact to dial, the X goes to do it but in the reception bars area a red circle appears and the screen reverts back to the previous one. I can dial other numbers fine and there is service. My work number is also in all my co-workers contact cards as well. I had one contact that I deleted and added again, and then the X would dial and the call go through. Any thoughts? It is only a few numbers this happens with, no pattern I can see yet.

View 9 Replies View RelatedIs there an app/add-on for Android that will speak my contacts name or number when I get an incoming call or text? I absolutely LOVE that feature about my Dare and will miss it greatly. Helps me know if I need to get the phone out of my pocket for an important call or if it can go to voicemail. Is there a feature in Android that can speak my contacts to me...like "call from Dad's Cell" or "message from Robert" like my LG Dare?
View 1 Replies View RelatedMoving on, my problem has to do with "Call-History". What I've noticed is that while I can see the phone-numbers of people in my contacts list people whose number I do not have show up as, bear with me, "Unknown". When I navigate to "Call History", (Say a friend whose number I don't have calls me). I can't add their number to my contact list. This is an increasingly frustrating problem for me. I'll navigate to the "Call History" screen and find that there's no way for me to identify what numerical-phone number called me. There will simply be the designation; "Unknown", while holding down on the entry (while the time/length of the call can be viewed). There is no way to add nor even view, the again, [Unknown] number to my contact list. Phones are ultimately communication devices, if I can't find a solution, well, I'm convinced that I'm going to have to down-grade from a smart-phone to something capable of recording and adding unknown numbers.
View 5 Replies View RelatedCan anyone call the last number they dialed in less than 5 moves on Motorola Droid without having that contact set as a direct dial shortcut on their Home screen? This is after screen has timed out and phone shotcut is not already open. View 3 Replies View RelatedSince the day I received this phone (LG Eve - GW620R): I have had this recurring problem. After I dial a number and hit the call button; the screen says "call ended", and the call gets minimized to the notification bar. I cannot overstate how annoying this bug is. Also, I get random notification dings (the screen says "preparing SD card") when the phone is just sitting idle. Finally, when I get e-mails it will tell me that my memory is full when it's not.
Anybody else experiencing these issues? Is there a solution?
